How does it work?
For example, someone told me to feed 2x crystal spice to a cougar in order to spoil a maj circlet, but one time they transform in the bigger version and the next time they dont. So should i keep feeding them until the appropriate form comes or jsut feed 2x.
To get to the 2xHP version you'll need to make the animal transform twice. It seems (just from experience, could be wrong) to take a varying number of spice each time you try though. It could take 2 spice (one for each transform), or it could take 3 or 4.
It takes 1 feed to transform from a 1/2 HP mob, to a 1x HP mob.
It takes 1 to 3 feed to transform from a 1x HP mob, to a 2X HP mob.
It takes 1 to 4 feed to transform from a 2x HP mob, to a 4x HP mob.
Golden feed will give adena only as drops, and allow spoils.
Crystal feed will give mats and items as drops, allow spoils, but drop no adena.
These two rules regarding the feed apply to all types of those mobs, except of course the 1/2 HP type. Those can give drops, spoils and adena.
And theres two type of mobs after the initial 1/2 HP one. Theres a melee type, and a mage type. Each type, at each HP level, with different feed, give different results as far as drops and spoils are concerned.
No it doesn't, plus all mobs drops items now from the latest patch.
There is a total of 21 forms of each type of mob, aka 21 cougar, 21 buffalo and so on.
1 1/2 mobs
2 1x Melee Crystal
2 1x Mage Crystal
2 1x Melee Golden
2 1x Mage Golden
2 2x Melee Crystal
2 2x Mage Crystal
2 2x Melee Golden
2 2x Mage Golden
1 4x Melee Crystal
1 4x Mage Crystal
1 4x Melee Golden
1 4x Mage Golden
There's like an 50/50 chance it become trained mob if you need to get it to 4x. There is no secret or any way to really get them to correct form beside the different food, even the 2 1x melee golden mobs have different spoil just so you get that as well.
there is one secret thought, if the mob become a mage mob = it will always be a mage, same goes for melee, the 1/2 mob doesn't count in
