LOL just set your own resolution, I've tested the game running over 2 monitors, ( dosnt work well you need 3 as your char gonna be sentered between 2 monitors and well be halved :P
eg how you do it, setup your dual heads to just use one head, and edit Option.ini and set the resolution to something like
2048x768 and make sure it run in full screen.
The only thing I hate about L2 when playing widescreen, is that the wider you go, the less vertically you can see. You see more in one plane, but less in another. :/
**** thats sweet, so NCsoft, lets talk about a joint idea here...you enable support for 3 monitors and they can advertise Lineage. Maybe a bundle...3 monitors and 45 days of Lineage :)
You do realize the market share of matrox on the graphics sector is tiny compared to nvidia and ATI, from the latest reports I read their share is 3 to 5% of the graphics card market. I venture to say of those that do have a matrox card an even smaller number own 3 matching flat panels and a triple head compatible card.
With this statistics in mind, why should NC really look into this when you can probably count the number of people it will benefit in the dozens at most?
You do realize that the TripleHead is a add on device for pretty much any graphics card which allows the use of 3 monitors from only 1 output, right?
Problem with them is that it gets quite hard to use in the long run, using gcards with 2 outputs 99% of the time have 2 video heads, who separate the monitors, you can still move objects around but eg starting windows app in full screen it not gonna center it around the entire 3 monitors and just one monitor.
The TripleHead works by making the 3 monitors seem like 1 to the graphics card. So its like having one very very wide screen with a resolution of up 3840x1024. Its not like dual outputs of graphics card, where each output is handled seperately, although with its drivers, it can treat each monitor seperately as well.
Actually this was from the staff channel on stratics where WoW people were bragging as usual, lol.
Hehehe?
So it's WoW people who spend too much time on Digg. That I understand better. Not like leveling was any challenge in wow.
They have a lot of spare time.
