One would think if you got to S grade you'd know there's only imperial crusader heavy.
In fairness to the op Ellie, if the op asked the question without looking it isn't necessarily right they would know the limited options. The assumption is there is more to choose from if there is at every other grade. I personally only know the poor choice because I looked in the library (my highest char (retired) is A grade) to prepare for the next bit.
And I'm not flaming you Ellie just saying that there are (only sometimes) exceptions :)
Well since im a nice Guy, I gathered a task force and research team, as well as a QA group and we did some extensive research into this matter and through hours of careful review and examination of all the available S grade heavy options. But after hours of heated debate through all the evidence provided to us in the end, the group came to the conclusion that Imperial Crusader is your armor of choice!

I've actually seen a couple of BDs using Draconic Light as the total pdef is not so horrid (compared to A grade not to IC), the set bonus is good and it looks awesome on both male and female DE.
Depending on your setup and depending on your budget (assuming madders is right and the other posters wrong '_' ) I'd stay with Tallum armor. DLExTall is a must and try to get Tat jewels if possible.

Erm what??? The only point to my post was that sometimes people aren't always as observant as they should be, therefore might not realise the huge choice available at S Grade ;)

of course i never considered buying S grade to be an option but just throwing it out there
