I remember you trying to do that, and thank you very much for the attempt.
As for the content being here. Nope, Nope, Nope. I have 3 to 4 websites I have to visit to learn about this game. So your "its all here" doesn't cut it at all. This site is about 70% of what a player needs.
I have just started to investigate Second Life for a project. Their stuff is all there including wiki's about the programming and offline graphical building programs. Their info is ALL there with links to the other info like the wiki.
The Lin1 pdf was invaluable and while I had to print it at the office cause it was very graphics based, having the hunt and peck around a website that has not been looked at by noobie users is well, less than satisifying.
Hell, we have custom links on our clan's site to help the new people find this information quickly.
I give credit, they are trying here, but the information here as compaired to Korea is lacking. They don't even have the C5 stuff built into the databases. Their quest links leave a lot to be desired.
All of this is about the apporachablity for the NEW person. Not us old salts. It is obvious they felt the need for an online PDF for their Guild Wars game. That tells us they see the need, but just not here.
hehe, I am worthless to be truthful. I have committed for 6 months to the Second Life project, so that comes first.
Please though, pm me so we can start a dicusssion. I would be happy to try to work on given parts as time permits. Maybe starting with some of the FAQs, etc and also the links I have on our clan's site.
Anyways, pm me, lets get this out of here and into real email.
Making a manual ourselves isn't terribly useful to new players, it would never be readily available for the game, nor up on the site or contained with the game. (actually Lineage 2 did have a very limited manual).
It would of course still be more usable than no guide at all, but then I'd rather make one on Stratics, heh.
