Is it ok too just report the leader of a nine party bot group.
Meaning its a pain to write all the names in the group and its kind of time consuming.
So can you make a petition soundíng rougly like.
"9 party in witch are run by *Certain 3rd party ware* leading player is abhdhsdgj . Plz investigate. "
So can it be done like this? :p
Note: Please dont discuss that you hate them and all that; really would like an answer from a moderator.

yea but basiclly i thought; the GMs ´see who are in the group and i am just there to let him be aware of what is happening.
So there should really not be any need for me too report all the other eight.
And really, really easy.
The GM's have a lot of bot reports to go through and there are only so many GM's to do the job. We should make it easier on them if we want the bots gone, not easy on ourselves.
I gave up trying to report all of the members so now I just give a couple of names (usually the healers/buffers) and say "and party" botting in "location."
How do you report somebody with a screen shot though support? I looked the other day and it wasn't clear to me. There's somebody who's been botting, & getting power lvled; and admited to buying his account in white chat. I want him gone!
You unfortunately cannot report anything to GM's in this manner.
I recommended drop down boxes at one time in the past.
Generally you create your petition. A prompt lets you know you've used too many characters. You rewrite it twice. You finally get it within the allowed characters and send it.
Any buffs you had are gone by now.
Then you get a reply saying you ALSO have to tell them in the petition 1) who you are, 2) your server, 3) the time and date, 4) who else might have been involved as a witness.
It takes you roughly an hour to fit this plus any coherent part of your original petition into another petition.
Somewhere about now people you used to play with have actually retired from the game and so much time has passed that your clan has dissolved.
This entire process should be MUCH easier.
I find it strange that there is no time/date/location stamp already on petitions that arrive in front of a GM that already indicates which toon sent the darned thing.
Basically we should be able to do drop down menus for time/loc/date, type of player complaint, text in one line of example "hdfhdfhdf said "xxxxxxx fxxxx u axxxx fxxxxtt" in chat, type in anyone else's toon name involved in the chat and click 'send'.
It would be simpler for all if you COULD just type in "hdfhdfhdf appears to be a bot--look at them" and everything else was a simple autofill. The petition is better than it used to be but could still be streamlined.
If you want 20 details from me then either allow me to free text them to you or provide a simple interface for me to add all those details.

I know it's a long URL but that is where you get the support form to send to NCSoft that you can attach a screenshot to. If you report bots through PlayNC support with screenshots it gives them evidence of botting that they can work with.

I highly doubt that it would be easy to do that. GM's now exist across the servers, I.E. they don't have the normal client running I believe.
Which would make sense. You really don't need the spectacular graphics in Lineage 2 to be a proper GM.

Wouldent it also make sense that the GM client could see what person was in what group ? If it couldent do that; there client is very flawed.
if the GM client doesnt show the GMs what they need to know to identify a bot i suggest that they switch to OOG w****r client. it shows them all they need to know :p

is it acceptable for me to report a bot group as
"bot group in giants cave the leader name is bot01" ?
also can we get a way to report ppl for priority bannings?
although we all hate the 24/7 farmer trains the ones that annoy us the most are the heros that botted their way there, is there a special way we should report them if we see them botting?

By the way, some time ago it was possible to report bots as:
/gm Botter: %target
So we didn't need to type the names by ourselves. Later it was "fixed". Could we expect %target working in /gm commands again?
I usually report the whole trainbecause I'm not sure if all the toons are in party. If I do report only some of them but others are not in party will those toons be investigated too?

I must say, you guys are doing a much better job as of late. I have seen a much larger number of bots banned over the last month. Please keep this up.
Oh and btw, if you guys are hunting them on your own. Check out the Dawn Lady in each town on every other monday when the Cat's and Necros reset. ;) You won't have to hunt much to find them, they will come to you.
