I have finally made it! B grade! This has taken a while. I was able to afford my armor. But I have a crystal dagger that I bought at 48. So no chance of getting a B grade wepaon right away. Never making it to 52 before im curious. How long can I level with this dagger? Im hoping for.....65....before I need a new weapon.
you can keep going. just keep telling yourself the shots are chearper. need to start making some cash, or hang with a dwarf and collect parts. what clan are you in... your leader will prolly help you with it.
See the shots being cheaper is sweet. I already thought of that. As for clan I recently joined deify in the Bane alliance. They all seem nice but I would hate to ask for help so soon. ;)
ive found that it is easiest to make a dwarf..lvl it up to mid D grade...stick it in robes..and craft ones own shot for life...as for the dagger..honestly you can use it for life but the Xp is gonna come more and more slowly as your lvl progresses
Not sure about that particular dagger. The issue for a melee imo is whether you hunt alone or not.
If you're in strong parties you could use an apprentice dagger and level (okay, maybe that would tick off your clanmates a BIT too much). But you get the point.
If you're solo--you keep running out of easy green mobs as you level.
The stuff that was 'white' to you at 51 won't die much faster when it's green to you at 55--cause you're using the same weapon.
And of course you need a LOT more exp at 55 to level than you did at 51.
So, yeah, you can use it pve but if you're often solo you will find it slower (not harder) to level very efficiently.
The major problem for a dagger is how hard it is to get B grade daggers. The recipes are very hard to obtain, you need 2 of the recipes to make one dagger. If you want to craft one you could be trying to get those recipes until you hit A grade and never see them.
However A grade recipes are much easier to come by, in fact I already have 2 bloody orchid recipes and enough parts to craft it as well. And I am only lvl 53 on my TH. I plan on using my dark screamer until I hit 61.
I have been doing the influx of machines quest. You get a 60% B grade weapon Rec off of it. I did it twice and both recs were for Kesh. Im running it a 3rd time in hopes I get lucky. If not I guess if you can use dark screamer till 61 then I should get by with crystal dagger until A grade also.
i not sure but if you put focus on it you can endgame with it
sure it takes longer then top grade at level but with right party you can backstab mobs and deal crazy amount of damage
sugestion if i was you i try to optain a Kris never look back also if you party a lot get back blow abilty on the kris and they will envy you :)
if you solo well focus is your game
pass 61 try to get a good armor set then you totaly set to 78
Crystal dagger dont have focus sa. But I do have critical damage on it and thats working out nicely. It is +3 also. Kris would be cool though. I really want a demon sword. But take what ya can get huh.
Hey nos, you could always craft that kesh and sell it or try trading it for a kris, or craft both keshes and trade them for a really nice kris, or dual them and get a +5 kris w/ focus in a trade. People are always in giran shouting wts/t kris, and i saw a guy today with +5 kris/focus he was trying to sell or trade.

influx of machines. port out ot pavel ruins from Schut, talk to the guy there. 46+ quest. watch out, all the mobs in the area are agro and social. however, they are also melee weak, so it is a PERFECT quest for a dd/healer duo (and a party quest on top of that).
(of course, being a warlock, I'm a walking dd/healer duo all by myself :))
got a SoV rec first time, sold it for 5 mil, see what else I can get tonight. want a Ice Storm Hammer rec, for my warsmith (who'll need it eventually, like 2008 or so at the rte she levels).
crystal dagger will last u till 70+ if u want o.o
the one tough thing about c grade is the weight and # of ss used per swing... so in parties, ur ss supply won't last too long compared to b grade or higher :x
also for ss costs, not sure about your server but in mine c-ss = 17a per, and bss = 59a per, crystal dagger uses 3ss so that's 51a per swing o.o not too far from 59a per swing for b grade and higher :O plus b grade hits harder per hit :P so the dmg/ss cost ratio maybe on b grade's favour o.o

Cool ill try it out, but im an HE 8X they look to be resist dagger, so cant take advantage of melee weakness, ill see how bow goes 8S or else ill borrow my BD's duals. How long does it take to get those 500 parts? theyre only 1x hp so if they drop every time it should be like 1 per day :O
it takes me a couple days each time I run the quest. The mobs arent bad really. I kill them pretty fast. Its a good quest really. But it takes awhile to do.
