Doom or BW

Im getting to the point I want to upgrade my armor to b-grade. Im TH and always with my little PP :).
So far I leaned towards Doom, but I've been seen many THs walking around in BW, so is there something I've been missing about BW, cause if I look at the set bonus, it seems that Doom would be significantly better. So why are there people in BW..

Folks use BW for the MP regen, or because they already have other parts of the set. For a class with no massive MP regen skills, it really doesn't help as much as the +dex does. Doom all the way!

Mind you, I used Plated Leather all the way up 'til A-grade. :p

Mostly they use BW due to the extra pdef not the minor extra mp reg u get from +3 men, acctualy I cant remember how much mp reg extra u get from +3men but it´s not far away from the +2.5% u get from doom =).

I think of BW as a more offensive set and Doom as a more defensive set.

I think for actual tanking that it's hard to beat Doom with any other set.
You start with more hp's, + con, and greater shield def rate.

Just my feeling. A tank doesn't really benefit from a speed bonus (and -con, -dex)

These are the light variations Drakkos, where it's exactly the other way around - bluewolf doesn't do much of anything for a dagger IMHO, Doom also has MP regen boosts, and +DEX is hard to beat, except with PL.

Yeah.. I meant light. But still, why there's THs running around in BW..

As for plated leather - its UUUGLIIIII!!! :p For c-grade I've been using drake, cause I <3 those little skirts.

thats where we differ, you and i. i throught he was referring to robe sets.

they are vastly different sets with MAJOR differences in what class should use them.

If youre going for max damage, plated leather

If youre going for max defense, BW

If you want a balance, doom

Imo I was pretty clear about using word - TH as treasure hunter. Didnt know they wear heavy or robes :p so I didnt point out that I want info about light sets. (And Im not "he" :p)

But thx, so Im still going for Doom. And as I mentioned earleir - plated is out of question, cause it looks ugly.

bw light doesn't do much of anything for anyone.

go with doom light. (unless you can get a PL set, stick with that till a grade)

It's a decent choice for ESs tanking the AoE for their ponies without TP.

Lol I wonder how many times I have to repeat that I WONT wear plated - I had the boots, but Im for the looks :p

I'd wear avadon for b-grade, just cause it looks adorable, but if for C-grade drake is fine, cause c-grade goes by rahter fast, then b-grade has to be more oriented for better stats.
I dont like either of them - doom/bw. Doom looks slightly better imo, but still, avadon would be muuuuch nicer, just that the bonus isnt so great.

So doom it is :x

My TH was sporting zubei light so thats another inexpensive option...granted the 4 evasion doesnt help that much but it does keep you from messing with the stats. Plus I like how it looked on a female fighter.

Zubei is quite hot, yes! Although it's not all that useful (especially on a TH), it's still miles more stylish than doom (IMHO).
