So what exactly is the Promise Set Bonus on the three armors?

heavy: i promise not to be hurt from the flames
light: i promise to flame a bit and try not to get hurt too much
robe: you get pkd by flames while dishing the most out.

Oh, you mean the Oath Armor. Had me all confuzzled there for a moment. I'd tell ya the set bonuses, but I don't know each one separately.

I do know, however, that they all have +5.24% PDef, in addition to their other bonuses. From my experience, they all seem to be better than top d grade armors of various types. The only exception being Knowledge set for nukers.

The bonus from heavy was nice, pdef and hp i think... like brig w/ helm but really cheap, and looks nicer imo, too.

even if the bonus really stunk id still have used it because on a female PK with ++ed ELS and plate sheild it looks sooo nice 8D

Human male mage in clan oath looks like he's wearing Spandex. My academy character isn't sure if he's supposed to nuke or summon a giant robot to fight for him.

off hand the oath robes have +5% casting speed and added pdef, the light has added pdef and +3 evasion, and heavy has added to HP, don't remember how much

Really, really decent sets considering you get gloves, boots, body, and helm for around 600-900k.
