Best BD set-up

What does everyone think the best set-up for a BD is (Armor,Weapon,Tats) for all grades for XPing/PVPing?
XP - Talum with kesh*kesh +4 and +5 str -5 con and +4 dex -4 con.

PvP - Doom armor//Nightmare with +4 kesh*dama +4 con -4 str.
Please tell me how you got +5STR -4CON. I wasn't aware that it was possible.
There are unequal dyes sold at all stores now, I prefer the +4-4 myself from mammon but plenty of choices now.
Yes, I know about those unequal dyes which you speak of. But, in order to get +5 to any stat there must be a combined -5 or more in the other related stats, i.e. MEN, WIT and INT or STR, CON and DEX. This does not include set bonuses.
was just a slight mis-type.....

i ment +5 str -5 con
C Grade

XP - Full Plate Raid*Spirit with the highest OE you can afford. No Tats

PvP - Full Plate Raid*Spirit with the highest OE you can afford, Emi Bow. No Tats

B grade
XP - BW with Tsu*Sls (+7 or +8) If you can afford a +12 or higher Storm*SN it's even better. Focus > A. Speed. +5 str -5 con.

PvP - BW with Tsu*Sls (+7 or +8) If you can afford a +12 or higher Storm*SN it's evem better. , BOP QR. no tats (or any + str - con you're comfortable with)

A grade
XP - Talum with Tsu*Sls (+7 or +8) If you can afford a +12 or higher Storm*SN it's evem better. Focus > A. Speed fpr XP and you can keep using SSB. +5 str -5 con. If you have a good group and won't be tanking you can try and +4 dex -4 con, but not everyone adapt to all that nerf in con though.

PvP - Talum with kesh*kesh +4 or higher, Soul Bow, +5 str -5 con.
My personal suggestion is to always go NM Heavy for BDs... Kesh*Dama +4 also helps. You have one of the lowest CON scores in the game, and Tallum will just make that worse, don't worry about STR (even with +5 Str you don't realy do any noteworthy mellee damage, even with Tallum and Kesh*Kesh +4).

Your primary function in any party is to dance, not DD, and you have Ultimate Defense as well. Just do your best to tank without a sheild, sinse dancing will draw all the aggro anyway, and you should be alright.

All of the above is my reccomended PvE settup...

I would give you PvP adive but IMO PvPing with a BD is a bit of a sick joke... if you must PvP, do so in a group when possible, and just dance and hide behind the stronger mellee classes... or dance for the nukers and run likea little girl...

(Sorry, that wasn't realy constructive, but I feel better now )

Honestly through, try not to PvP unless you realy realy have to; (Spectral Dancers are decent in PvP, but BDs up to that point are just dancers. Best of luck getting to Spectral Dancer though, that class does rock!)
PVE: solo (no outside buffs)

C grade: Full Plate Set/OE Crit Duals/+4 STR, +4 DEX
B Grade: BW Heavy/OE Crit Duals/+5 STR, +4 DEX
A Grade: Maj Heavy/OE Crit Duals from B grade/+4 STR
S Grade: Ask me when I get there.

PVE: solo (w/outside buffbot)

C Grade: Plate Leather Set/OE Kats or Raids/+5 STR, +4 DEX
B Grade: BW Heavy/OE Caliburs*SLS/+5 STR, +4 DEX
A Grade: Tallum or Maj Heavy/OE Kesh/+4 STR
S Grade: Ask me again when I get there.

True BDs are not specialist DDs, but they aren’t tanks either and are MUCH better in damage dealing than in tanking… in my opinion P. Atack setup > HP setup for BDs, by far.

You shouldn’t be grinding solo at A Grade (even with HP setup it would not be efficient anyways) and unless you are into some rare situation - i.e. your party does not know how to grind without a tank AND you don’t have a true tank in party AND your healer is a boxed toon or doesn’t know what he’s doing (A grade healers should have learned something at this point) – your party will benefit more from a P. At. Setup. I don’t really solo since mid 50s and half the time I exp in duo or in 3 -4 ppl group (usually with SE + TH, or SE + Tyrant) and very rarely felt I needed more HP. For the records I did tried NM and health duals for a couple of weeks when I was around 65 (didn’t touch my tats though). It was fun and all but my clannies started to complain and asked me to go back to my previous setup.

OMG, please… don’t… BDs are party players so 1x1 will be a waste of time, and sometimes XP, against most classes but “running like a little girl” when you are in party… Dance, get a bow and play. Again BDs will never be the main DDs but you would be surprised how helpful you can be… You don’t need to wait until you get Medusa at 77 or Siren at 78 to PvP
I can just say, for PvE, no mather what lvl you get, never lay down your OE tsu*sls! if you have more money, just getter higher OE :)
