sub class to Main class

I can only find answers to what subclasses are and how to become one.

So... How do I go from Sub to Main? I can't seem to find an option. Only options to change the subclass. do I go back to the giver of the sub class or do I go to the embassy of the main class.

Yes, the NPC dialogue options are somewhat weird - the first few times I feared, too, that I would maybe accidentally delete my subclass again...

To change to your subclass (or to your main class), you go to the trainer building of the class you want to change to. E.g. when I want to change to sorc, I go to the mage guild, talk to the grand master there and choose the subclass option he offers. And yes, I think it is actually called "change subclass", which may be confusing :)

When I want to change back to ShS, I go to the Dark Elf guild and talk to the grand master there. Not all guilds offer the subclass options, I think only Giran and higher level towns (e.g. in Dion you cannot switch to subclass or main).

i think i have read several times even on the official site that "sub class coice is PERMANENT and cant be changed" and you can change it ?

You can switch back and forth between your sub and mainclass. "permanent" as the only way to get rid of one is deleting it.. IMO

Yes, you can delete it and choose a different one (which then starts at lvl 40 again). So if you do not like your sub, you can "reroll" it.

i know a few ppl who have rerolled some times..

1 "person" even rerolled like 3 times when the chars was 52+

Ok guys thanks. I kept going back to the orc embassy but that wasn't working, then I went back to the Dark elf and couldn't seem to find anything.

I then thught that I needed to choose spellhowler as my "new subclass" and it would be made into my main because NC sometimes isn't great on details.

When that didn't work (and I'm glad it didn't because I would have been disappointed in them) I came here.

lol yes, happened often to me that I ported to some newbie town to help out with a few buffs, and when I was there I realized I was still on subclass.

Congratulations Sovrath! Once I switched to Destroyer class I haven't gone back.

To change (back) to Spellhowler/Storm Screamer go to any town and talk to the Grand Magister DE. Select 'change' from the NPC.

Similarly, to switch to Destroyer go see the High Prefect in any town and select 'change'.

Are you poling on your Destroyer? I'm curious to hear how you gear up and hunt. From 40-52 I poled exclusively (played around a bit with 2H sword to learn how to use Guts and Frenzy) in the catacombs using FPA and a +5 Orcish Poleaxe. Nowadays I use BW and Lance and play around with Great Sword periodically. I still haven't used any tattoos. I find the basic Destroyer stats pretty good when I'm fully buffed. You will absolutely love the utter destruction you can generate with Rage, Frenzy, and a Polearm or 2H sword. You'll be able to kill 4x white mobs in two to four hits of the sword! The best gear suggestion I got (from Tokara) was to get a Cursed Dagger with Risk: Haste SA to speed up reuse on Frenzy [Once I hit 30% HP I equip the dagger activate the skill and switch back to my polearm or 2H sword - warning: this is very tricky to time when poling but easy with 2H sword].
