Newb question - Rec. remaining

Newbie question - what is the rec. remaining number on the socials section of the character tab? Thanks.

In the game you can Rec ( thumbs up) a toon. That is just telling you how many more peopel you can rec until the next day. On the other side there is your Rec. A toon can get up to 255 then they are full. After 2nd class change you get a told of 9 ( you can give) a day. The reup at about 1 pm CST ( I think).

This is true. At level 10 you can give up to 3 recs per day. After first job change, you can give up to 6 recs per day. After second job change, you can give up to 9 recs per day. Also, after second job change, you lose 3 recs a day. After first job change, you lose 2 recs per day. Otherwise you lose 1 per day.

Recs have absolutely no effect on game mechanics except that your name gradually changes color from white to blue.

God I hate rec beggars. I've had people run up to me while I'm hunting to beg for recs. Jeezus. :mad:

I swear some people spend more time begging for recs than they do grinding.

Yea, that would be annoying.

Later in the game you can get 20 min. of buffs from some
nice players! (edit - for a rec I mean)

Ask me politely and give me hunting space, I'll buff anyone; rec or not.
