i have several questions in regards to the new fishing system
1)is it beter to fish at night or during the day time?
2)what lures work for what fish?
3)what lvl of fish give what items?(ie fish gems, shiny fish gems, scales, ect.)
if some one knows of a website that lists all of this PLEASE post it...id really like to know
Night time fishing it the "best" i think but it is the hardest. Night time lures ( Prize winning night time lures) are good to use at night same with day time (prize winning lure). At lvl 23 pump and reel ( what i have) Day time i get Shiny fish gems, Shiny fish scales, and c4 common craft mats. At night i get all the C5 fish items, Red and White colored scales, and shiny fish gem and scale. Blue fishing pot is the best for reg Fish gems and scales.
And you don't need the prize winning lures. I believe they will be used for Fishing Events in the future. I have seen no difference in the end results from fishing with them vs. without them.
But perhaps my sample size is too small. I only used 4k of each lure...
I personally have far fewer empty fish with the prize lures during the daytime, but at night the prize lures seem to have the same success as the regular night lures.
