Hair Style

I made an SE here not long ago. I picked hair style A..which is long and flowing. I even used a pot on it. Can someone explain to me WHY I have a pony tail? If I wanted a pony tail, I would've picked a pony tail. :(

Toons should be as described in the set up section for a toon...not something different. If I had known that..I would've picked a different hair style...

Probably nothing anyone can do...but if there is, can someone let me know?

It's dependant on the armor you wear. Long hair clips through collars, and so gets put into a ponytail.

yeah noticed that when I put on peice bone armor... but got back the hair style after upgrading

Yes it's super annoying, we tested this out in another thread but something like 80% of armors will put your hair up into that ugly pony tail :/

That's why all my DE girlies have one of the off the neck styles :(

Yup, the hair on most DE's clips through the absurdly high collars on her clothing (I would rather just not have the collar, but that wasn't my decision). It gets better in B-A grade... less armors in those grades have enormous collars.

This is most likley the reason why Elves and Dark Elves are the only races capable of growing hair longer than 6 inches...

Apparently human females in this world have some unusual inhibitions about long hair...

I would LOVE to see some asthetic changes in the upcomming updates... I am tired of all these monsterously huge changes in the system. It's high time we got some good cosmetic changes to the characters. A few new options at creation (faces, hairsytles, colors, etc) would be the best update L2 has seen sinse C3 in IMHO.

Yep, well I found someone in game that told me it was a robe/armor problem.

I really really really wish they'd change that...my SO is SO much sexier with long flowing hair....

Hey, I don't put MY long hair in a pony tail if I'm wearing a collar. :)

Hm, the only armor i believe ive seen with DE hair down was BW heavy...... and then again you can go around no armor..(>>Reccomended<<)

To be honest I like ponytail too, it's very simple and clean hairstyle.

Elves and Dark elves can have long hair, because probably they do not have that much problem with hair and armor pads. As for Dark elves ... those few chains and pieces of metal wrapped around body as heavy armour do not make any problem, only those wing-like thingies on the back can be a bit annoying.
As for light elves, they shape their hairstyle to match just in between shoulder pads of heavy armours :D
