Question: lowest level, highest skill?

Ok i'll explain my situation :). I have recently leveled up my 7th lv 40+ char on my main account. It is a Phantom Summoner, currently lv 44. I can solo green mobs and under until summoned expires. This has made it possible for me to make around 700k-800k a day hunting(oop proph for buffing) ^^. What I was wanting to know is, how low can a char be and still use high level skills? For instance could I level to 52 and then de-level to lower 40's and still use my lv 52 Summons? Thought it would be a good finacial investment seeing as a lv 54 silh or shadow can total slaughter a lower 40 mob.

Thanks in advance =D
You can be 10 levels lower, in your example you could be 42 and still use the skills you got at 52
Correct me if Im wrong but I think you cant delevel under a class change and still use the class change skills....

Example: your lvl 44 and you delevel to 34, you cant use your skills that you got after 40....right ? (again correct me if im wrong)
If a 52 summon kills a lvl 40 mob, are drops reduced? Or does that depend on the summoner's level?
First time I'd hear about that Shrimpstoo.

Delevelling for money is not usually worth it - try manoring to improve your income and build a base budget to start playing the market with.

Only a function of lvl
Whose level? the summoner's?

I have a dorf that gets deleveled to use the manor :P
Some seeds are WAY more prifitable than others. So of course you want your dorf to stay in that level range....
It is VERY profitable to delevel a toon

Note: Yes Ive confirmed it form a freind, if you delevel under a class change lvl , you cant use skills anymore form that class change
but still, what about if i was lv 40 with lv 52 skills. and my lv 52 summoned shadow killed a lv 40 mob. Would it drop based on my char or the summoned?
No, it drops based on the summon.

And shrimpstoo, the second part of the post was directed at the OP. I'm not aware of a level range where delevelling for seeds is worth it anymore, possibly expecting Red Coda in NoS. But then, you go straight into chilly cobol from the end of the red coda, so meh.
if that would work (use a 52 summon at lvl42 and still get drops) it would be insane. you could just hunt a cata room for hours n hours, maybe not even using shots? $$$$$
i know that was what I was thinking lol.
if you are a summoner you can already do that :P
You can delevel past class change and still use the post class change skills. What you'd lose ot the C grade item masterys. Not sure if this is the case now but it was so in C3. I recall getting Aura Bolted by a lvl 36 red near Gludin back then
hmm, a single sumoner can solo a full cata room? Im used to it, with other chars, but dident realy expect a summoner to be able to do it.

usually an 8 mob room is too hard if the mobs are green but a 4 mob room can easily be done with white mobs.
8 mobs room to hard even with PP/SE buffs? I guess it would be perfect for 2 summoners or summoner+BD
Ps + WC for greens, PS + PW + WC for whites or higher.
Question, it was decided earlier that servitor's level decided the drop rate on the mob, not the summoner's level. Well, I leveled my warlock up to 48 today hunting lv 42's. Loot was dropping about 4 out of every 5 kills while I was 47 and below. Well when I hit 48 and got my new serv(lv 50) it dropped down to about loot 2 out of every 5 kills and the lv 42's went light blue to my summoner. So to experiment I deleveled back to 47. Sure enough I was getting loot 4 out of every 5 kills again. This just random loot luck or is it actually the summoner who decides drop rate, and not the servitor.
with a little more experimenting it seems adena drop is 100% the same, but the mat drop is low compared to when I had a lv 46 pet. Odd
