Heya all, im pretty new to Lineage2 and thinking of rolling out a DE fighter on Teon with aims of becoming a bladedancer, and i just wanted to know how well they (the bladedancer) solo, pvp, do damage and take damage.

Thanks in advance :D
Solo they do rather well, especially when you start to get your self-supportive dances at 40.
PvP they can hold their own. Obviously, if a Dagger comes up behind you and one hits you, their's not much you can do. But with your dances up you can pretty much do admirably.
They do very good damage with their Dual swords and are often known as non-hate tanks (hate is a skill to keep monsters on you)
Hope that helps ^_^
Bladedancers, well, they are welly known for criticals and during pve they critical almost every 2 shots( If buffed). For pvp, usually they are good in pvp groups or at 58+ because of dances like warrior, fury, etc.

Id consider using a bow(at a logical level like 55+) in pvp as well because crit+p.atk+atk spd so if you got enough money for a bow, buy it (but dont let it be too low of your current grade). Dont buy a bow if your 52- though. You wont be pvping much...Unless you want to.

When grouped in mages you guys are loved because of + m.atk and + castin spd. Though damage on criticals can be between 700+-(unbuffed)-1k+(buffed).

They have an OK p. def though because they wear heavy, but the HP is a small problem.

Usually BDs take around 60-200 damage through close combat, daggers they do quiet a bit so watch your back, and mage attacks it depends on your jewels and your passive skill lvl. Archers, they still do pretty "pwnage" damage but not as much because of deflect arrow you learn at 28-40 i think it was...

Soloing, i do it only when buffed with VR because when you crit. you get like +200 hp regenerated. Usually id party with an SE or pp.

If you need anything else to know, post or pm me.
Ah thanks, thats all exactly what I wanted to know :D Generaly a pretty good class, so it seems :) Looking forward to getting those dances at the higher-lvls, they where a major reason i wanted to roll one in the first place (that and the dual blades look real sweet)

Anyways, thanks again!
Heh, good luck leveling ^^
Around 55 it gets kinda sticky with the exp/parties..

Which is why he needs to get into a good academy and then a good clan ;)
Haha well, I'v not yet found a clan to take me in (much as I'd like one) but ohwell, not worrying 'bout needing one at lvl 55 when im only lvl 11 :P

lol, well good luck leveling and dont use duals during D grade use sword, its faster! During my D grade i skimmed through with +5 els and +3 brig set. Though took me 4 months to get lvl 40 rofl... then 5 months lvl 52 xD
BDs are one of the most wanted classes in game. ever melee party wants a BD (both single target and polers) and a BD in nuker partys is nice as well. dident have much experiance with that tho.
they tend to get a bit booring tho. you have to dance every 2 min, and between lvl 58 and 74(?) you dont get very much usefull skills/dances. buts its a great class :)
You'll enjoy playing bd, i know i did. awesome leveling with parties and solo, especially at 74+ (gonna be a while to get there but..) when u get vr dance u can xp for hours with little or no heals. Good damage and can hold your own in pvp in most cases if you dont go killing your con with tatoos. Some people r gonna tell you that bd's get beaten by most players but if you play and learn your class correctly you can beat a lot of people. i say this from experience. your gonna like it.
