Hi .. I need detailed instructions on how to set a crest for a clan.where to put file and how to add to and retrieve please all the expert help i can get will be appreciated. ty.
it should be 16*12 256 colors bmp
u should put it on your root (C:)
your clan should be lvl 3 and u click on the clan section the "edit crest" button and write c:/name.bmp

Correct picture size if 764 bytes. If your picture editor produces image of different size, you should open it in Paint and save in 256-bit BMP format. After that image will beproperly formatted and game will accept it.
In clan management window (use Alt+N to open it) you can find Edit crest button. Clicking on it, you'll see another window sliding with two sections - Crest and Insignia. Use Set crest button to change your clan crest, enter crest file name and press Comfirm button after you select the correct crest.
Sometimes your crest manipulations may lead to corruption of temporary crest/insignia storate of your client. If it happens, you'll see critical error message. Work-around for this situation is deletion of crest.utx file in Systextures folder. Game will download all crests automatically so this operation will not cause more troubles for you.
