I'm new to Linage 2 and have just moved from playing Warcraft. I felt I needed something new to try and have to say I really like the game so far, it seems to attract a good mix of people from all over the world. There is much to explore and learn and is very nice on the eye.
I'm a casual Role Player who tries to talk "in character" at all times. I find it more fun to role play while playing and I like to avoid talking about real life issues. I also dislike constantly talking lore etc hence why I say I'm a casual role player. I've heard people saying Linage 2 is not built for RP, but I have to disagree, for starters it has good chat options, social emotions and good history / lore.
I also really like PvP, although I'm very new and utter rubbish at it, I think being able to be killed by other players adds an edge of excitement to the whole experience. Ive been killed several times by players already (and by my own race, tut tut), very annoying but I fully accept it.
I have a few questions for anyone kind enough to help;
Am I wasting my time trying to talk "in character" on Teon? Should I go elsewhere? I've heard Lionna is good for RP, but being from the UK I think a Euro server would suit me best? (I've also spent many days getting this far)
Is there any RP orientated guilds on Teon? Anyone thinking about starting one? Please get in touch with me as I'm not sure how the whole guild recruitment thing works yet.
If anyone would like an "in character" Female Dark Elf friend for fun and adventure - please whisper me.

Your not exactly wasting your time talking "in character" like a RP style but im sure many people will be freaked and and some people will join along if you ask to roleplay. But ,be cautious Teon is like ying and yang. Part evil and good. And i dont know if Lionna is a RP server but im sure there are clans for RP, or you can start one ^^ (if you do i can help). And yes, there are people from UK on teon so you'll have your country mates with you in Teon.

Im only lvl 10 atm. I start at 20.11.06 on Theon.
I have a lot of experience in L2 (C4).
C5 is a new thing for me.
About the thing with talking to guys its maybe useless.
I talked to some Chars but they didnt answer.

Bit higher than level 15 here, but I might join you every now and then if you make it to, say, level 30 or so. I should have a palus knight at around that level.

Teon seems to be more PvP-oriented, tho. Might not be (and is probably not) the best server to find roleplayers.
Yes, it would seem the case that Teon has very little in the ways of RP. Other players have sent me private messages with information on what I was hoping for on other servers so I shall try there instead.
I remember coming across you while I was playing JuneDoe ;). Unfortunately it looks like your best bet for a RP clan is on another server (shame really, but it makes the game much better playing with people of the same mindset).

I'd still love the idea, and i'd be ready to see a "Rebirth of the Shillien Empire", but even when people come here on these boards and say "i'd like to find a RP clan", you never get to see them ingame or they never answer your PM :eek:
But as i'm also on Lionna now, the idea would be to find someone who could co-run the Shillien Empire with me, and be on Teon when i'm not ! I dont intend on leaving Teon anyway, i'd like to do a little "back and forth" between the two servers.

Hello, I'm new to L2 too, and definitely looking for friends. I've started playing the game on the Teon server only 4 days ago. Originally I started on a free server, to test the game and see if I liked it,. Although I liked the game there weren't many players online, so I thought that that wasn't fun, and decided to move on an plaync server. I chose Teon because it was European, thus the ping time was less.
My character is a female Dark Elf Mystic, currently lvl 11, named AngelHawke, and would like to follow the path of the Shillien Oracle in the future.
Normally, l don't like PvP, (although most people think it's fun), unless I have to, and would like to be part of an RPG clan, although this doesn't mean that I will be acting RPG all of the time during the game. I know that my lvl is not an asset for a clan right now, but I can be a friend.
