Server Locations

I'm trying to pick a server, and I'd like to know the locations of them, so that I can pick the one closest to me. Sometime the pings flux, so I want to base my decision off of hard fact. Thank you.

Where are you from thats what we need to know. Then i can consider which one.

Most of them are somewhere in the US (same location there though) and Franz and Teon are in Germany.

Some of them are west and east coast maline....I just don't remember which are which.

Teon also has UK, France, Sweden, Spain, Russia(i think)... and a few others. These are probably the main ones...Not sure. :D Then most other servers are USA.

I remember reading that that was not true, Splatter - but heck, I might be wrong. :o

Well, if they are all in Arizona or Texas, I'd like to know. Are there any in New York or New Jersey or what? If you don't know their locations, my location won't help much I'm afraid.

Most the people are from USA. Gustin,Hindemith and Erica are USA servers i believe. Not sure which parts of the US though.

Servers from 1 to 8 are located at Austin, teon and franz in germany

Log into server selection screen and look at pings I'm in north east and on Dev. and ping there has been stable at 35 since I been playing C1.

Delete your s_info.ini file in lineage2/System foder prior to starting Lineage for updated server information including pings.

Bartz Kain Sieghardt Liona Erica are so called "west coast" servers.
Gustin Hindemith Devianne are so called "east coast".
They may be on same server room or rack, but I guess they may be using different routes or even providers to each of them for optimized network reachability.
Teon and Franz are in Germany, they also use GMT+1 for event and maintennance schedules.

So ... just pick one with lowest ping or something :)

Last time I posted this question I believe some one corrected me (I said they were all in Austin) and let me know there are both east and west coast servers. Physically located on the east and west coast that is. Erica is a west coast server, where the others are I don't know.

Teon is mostly Russian server and also has UK, France, Sweden, Spain, US(i think)... and a few others. :)
