I got the item that lets you transport to the main town area where everyone is bazaaring and such. However, I am only lvl 10 and can't figure out how to get back to a starting area. The teleport is way too expensive for me and I tried to run to the closest town and got owned by aggro. Is there anything to do or am I screwed lol? Thanks.
It's annoying. I used the scroll and figured oh, they will just make me talk to the guy in the luxury shop then off to home I go. NOPE. Annoying as hell, run around to stupid NPC quests. Yeah I'm sure those newbies will love to run around in Giran.
Yes indeed. I see this all the time. I have a shop set up in Giran and I have lost track of how many times I've seen "Please help me get back to newbie town" in shout. I always pm them as soon as I can and tell them to see the dwarf in the Luxury Shop. I think they need to make a change in that quest, make it a little more obvious to the player what he needs to do to get home.
I still considder these moments as "Best Moments" in the game, not knowing where you came from and not know where to go. Running over small roads, all in fear of the next dark red mob waiting for you around the corner to sent you back to the big city. While all you want is to go back to the small village you came from....
^^ Well I suggest to read the WHOLE quest text next time around as it is explained where you need to go and talk to IF you use it before the time is ripe for it ^^ (and they do state in the quest "use the scroll wisely and when you think you are ready for it").
Indeed this quest had let astray many newbie players in the past few months and Giran has been buzzing with pleads for help. The intend of this quest is to give a view to th newbie what awaits him/her once they have done their first class change (lvl 20). Not only is LII a hard grind and open PVP game, it's also a game where you need to pay attention to the details given in quest explanations of NPC ;)

heh, I made a rather pleasant trip through Execution Grounds, to Dion, after deciding that the teleport is way too expensive, and not realizing that the road goes through the middle of it. I had to tread carefully, believe me!
Got through in one piece, not bad for lvl22, where everything I passed was dark-red!
Behold the times when Wyrms, Fettered Souls (they were aggro back then), and those skeleton archers were just behind Giran and often very close to the road :p
The quest itself is useful, as it allows you to meet clan leaders to join a new alt, or whatever. But, the instructions on teh quest are way too vague. I never knew what the starting NPC was talking about on my first toon, and so I never took it to Giran, and I so I had no idea what goes on the mainland. Really, the quest is a great idea, but they need to give better instructions from the NPCs.
