I think it might mean Dion, specifically the Execution Grounds, where all those rebels and their families were slaughtered by Lord Ashton back then.
Anyone else got any atrocity in the recent history? Well, there's the ruthless pursuit of the Children of Shilen during the reign of Emperor Shunaiman, but that's pretty old history by now, and would mean pretty much the whole of the ancient Elmoreden Empire.
Speaking of which ... why there are no catacombs and necropoli in Elmore, anyway?
Hmm i dont know what ur real problem is but from guessing to start the coin quest go to the WH keeper in HV he tells you to meet Bernard the hunters guild president he sais he got no coin but he sends u to forest of mirrors.
Hunt Leto lizard martriachs there till u get the coin then go back and talk to the WH keeper again.
If you look for mobs that drop blood medusas go to oren and hunt Timak orcs soldiers and shamans. For golden conins i prefer Dragon vally for the silver around ivory tower fumors.

the problem with using no punctuation is that it becomes very hard to read you maybe able to decipher it anyone else who reads it ends up with a migraine trying to break it down if you were to read this paragraph out loud it would be very difficult to not run out of breath.... using ..... to add pauses is also a no no....

There is a quest known as coin of Magic
You go to the NPC known as Bernard in Hunter village to have him tell you in what areas mobs drop coins. (updated for c5) One of those areas is known as "The Land of Atrocity." The OP is asking if anyone knows the location of such a field area.
However can anyone verify if the Land of atrocity is the English name of the region? Since I am unable to find it on the C5 map. I wonder if he is refering to the War-torn plains east of aden, where the Hatar Harishee dwell that drop blood medusa coins.
I dont see either where this new text interpretation leeds to Ocean, but i think you might want to take a look at the Lionna.com quest section, i found there a very detailed description of the quest. [Good work lionna.com]

im new to l2 and i have started a de dm in the land of dark elven village people i talk to look at me strange things are happening in the fields around gludio town is busy with items that i need to level to 20 hours is roughly what i play per day by day im increasing xp slowly moving would wind walk make me any quicker than a blink of an eye on the moon during dusk priestess in the village shop prices are high

I think you are telling us you are a Dark Elf, trying to level around Gludio, needing buffs and not having enough adena.
If you are under level 26, you can still get buffs free from the 'Newbie Guide' near the entrance to the Gludio church.
To get adena, use the manor system. Gludio has two manor managers. Buy seeds, sow them, harvest them, and sell the mats you get. For a guide on using the manor, this Stratics guide (http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/features/manorsystem/) will help.

to answer your question (if i have asked the question correctly) the land of atrocities is not in the game. take it as a text bug. the areas that drop the coins and the list of monsters to hunt can ONLY be found by opening the quest window.
