I was CHAT BANNED because I type fast.

I was talking with someone 2 minutes ago.

I am a very fast typer, so im telling them about something that happened earlier today.

I press enter to one of the messages and Im told I am CHAT BANNED for 1 minute because of my cumulative keyboard score exceeded something :P

I know I was a fast typer but wow...

dont type one word sentences.

Happens to me constantly. I type way too fast. =/
For the sake of chatting if I'm in town having a discussion with someone, I send them a party invite and chat there to avoid the ban.

You don't have to type one word sentences to get banned, I type full length sentences and still get chat banned. It's not my fault I can type something like 65 WPM.

type slower. you might get mistaken for an auto-reply.

use alt+y and open a private dialogue window box thingy with friends, you cant get chatbanned there.

Yeah, this happens to me all the time about 70-75 wpm on a good day.

If I know I am going to be speaking with someone for a while I just party them.

This doesn't mean that I don't think the system sucks.

I don't even remember how fast that I can type...but it's hella fast...

That's almost impossible, to me that's like saying to talk a different way, I CAN'T. I just type FAST.

I hunt and peck (2 fingers) i do 60+ WPM

Or try typing in another language...like I do with english :P

I type fast too. I am always chat banned.. I have actually gotten use to it. If i am not chat banned atleast once a day i get worried.

I BELIVE ive been caught in the filter, but, i prefer to live WITH it, than to see 5 pages of **** posts posted in 1 minute, as could happen in forums as say, WOW.

Party invite always works for me to not get the ban ^^

Even if english isn't my mother tongue I still type 60+ WPM while in Dutch (my mother tongue) I do over 70+ WPM...

Anyways, nothing else to do then wait to the bann to expire and next time open a party channel so you don't get banned or if you are planning on stayingfriend s with the person you are chatting with Friend invite as Orvieta said ;)

Well, this isn't the filter. It's a mechanism that inhibits others from spamming insults in private chat.

I tend to wonder if it really is worth it?

Ah, that explains it, i have encountered few interested in exessive chat in L2, even if im usually chatty... :(

lol... a long time ago i started typing w/ only my left hand
w/ both hands i would type a whole paragraph then type another while wating for the person i was conversing w/ 2 reply... left handed i have horrible grammer and bad spelling
but i can work w/ my right and chat w/ my left now ^^
