I getting real mad soon...every were i go there is bots ** running around and its anoing..they downlvl them selv on the guards sometime its 5-9 bots ** attack tha guards to downlvl them self, and they make my quest take longer time,they kill moobs before me alots of time, you cant go party whit them and they dont help you if you get in truble , lets say if you beeing hunt of 3-5 moobs..many players will help another player in that case..but not the bots...so? why must there be so many anoing bots?? :mad:
Cause it's hard for NcSoft to remove them in the same tempo as they respawn kind of. Just report them when you see them and hopefully the get removed. You report by going into options menu and then choose petition, report bad user, third party program and type your petition there with the bots names and location.
Sometimes they get removed and sometimes they remain even after several days of reporting the same bots. Just do your part and hope that everyone else is doing theirs.

With all due respect, but trying to write down the often completely senseless names of the bots takes quite a bit of time. More importantly, if I were to try to report all the bots by naming every single one of them, I'd be busy quite a while. And that's an understatement.
A GM visiting the newbie towns once in a while would be welcome.

The issue is not that they aren't banned quickly...or in large numbers...it's that with the free 14 day passes the farmers will start 100 new accounts and put them all on the same program they always use...most will get banned. Maybe 75 of the 100. But it doesn't matter because their adena has already been moved and sold...and now they have 25 little guys that snuck past the GMs monitoring the starter towns.
Of those 25 accounts that they start to pay for a bunch more will be banned by lvl 50 and so on....it's why you don't see 500 lvl 75+ bot trains running.
The GM's ARE doing what they can...but to stop this method of farming adena (kind of like penguins all jumping in the water at once...some of them make it past the polar bear) we'd have to discontinue the 14 day trials, and we NEED new blood in this game.
With the most recent C5 changes (no dropped gear, additional spells for buffer classes, increased functionality of summoners, herbs and pots, newbie buffs and gear, etc.) L2 is becoming a LOT more casual gamer friendly and is becoming much more appealing to the NA and European markets....but no one knows about it, and those that do are not willing to play it again because of the hard core grind they experienced in OB, Prelude, etc.
I hate to say it but I'm willing to put up with the botters for a while if I can get some live bodies on the servers to play with as well.
And on a related note...KSING PLAYERS IS NOT...I repeat...IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE METHOD OF DETERMINING IF THEY'RE BOTS.
There seems to be a rash of that lately...don't be rude...talk to the people around you...a real player will appreciate it, and a bot won't have more than a few phrases to reply with...so the "Bot's use an auto-reply" is not an acceptable excuse for such obnoxious behavior.
Bad thing is. i've noticed these last days that bots seem to have some kind of "GM alert" casue soon after i've petitioned they suddenly log. i though that was them being banned at first, but then they re-appear again in like 10 minutes. And besides, ppl who are not afk-botting and are watching theire little robots run around can act just like any other normal player when they need to. because of in-game bot program that is run behind the normal game client. so the cathing them part has become alot harder. sadly.
Its easy to say you can put up with the farmers because of the new additions made to L2. When i was lv 64(ish) it wasnt bad lving in the catas/necs ( even though they still dont drop the goods). All you have to do is find rooms, train the bots in it( risk dying everytime you train them) maybe die a few times in the process and start grinding once they left. Now when you are at lv 7x dying and losing 4% means 5-8 hours of grinding and training just no longer works.
The fact that people from L2 are constantly gloating about 14 MIL players and stuff would make you think that they can afford an in-game GM. But after years of playin i just frankly dont think it will be fixed anytime soon. The service is just horrible, this is a bit off topic but really. C6 will be out b4 they even update this website. And you think they would be able to afford it.
You should just stop playing and try something else. The service support IN WOW is amaing compare to this one. Report a bot, they wil be banned that same day. If its possible with them, why not with L2? IM starting to truly believe that its just for profit, soon they will let the world know, 15 mil players Oo
