Maybe if you try going to blacksmith of mamon. Then ask to upgrade your weapon (or even trade it if it's same crystal count). Then on the weapons icon, you can see the weapons stats. Just an idea.
It's just the hammer has the highest P atk at a speed of normal and it's a two handed one, and the tarbar is one step below in P atk with a speed of fast and is one handed. That and i see a ton of people with tarbars but not that many with titans....
From my view the titan is the best weapon, but everyone one runs with a tarbar.
hmm
plecahn who i consider to be the foremost expert on all things dorf states that a 2 handed blunt has about 10% more damage capability than a 1 handed (slow 2 hander vs fast 1 hander)
if i had to do it all over again id have my dorf with a two handed sword
So would I, although Titan's Hammer is pretty pimp looking. If you find mammon go with titan hammer or sword as opposed to the tarbar. They are equivalent crystal counts as tarbar, so no worries there if you don't like one of them.

A chronicle ago a shield could actually mean more uptime for soloing pre-40 toons, thus the popularity of Tarbars. But with current pre-40 HP regen, 2-hander is a better choice than 1-hander with a shield.
Ok, in general both have roughly the same damage over time. Titans Hammer has more Patk but slower atk speed, Tarbar has faster atk speed but lower patk. Both are blunts (Low crit rate) leaving the only other difference the lack or gain of a shield when you look at the tarbar.
Even without any shield masteries you will block with the shield far more often than you will crit with a blunt. The only downside being that this damage reduction is usually fairly minimal unless you are fighting archers, as there is an extra block bonus verus bows.
Thus in a buffless, SA-less, shot-less state the Tarbar is slightly better than the Titans Hammer. (Even considering the instant herb drops.)
However, once you start spamming SS or get some buffs (even just the store bought alacrity pots) things swing in favor of the Titans Hammer instead. Go up a grade and add a SA to a 2H blunt and things get a bit better yet.
The only problem with the Titans Hammer overall is that it is not top D grade and there *is no* top D 2H blunt. So if you were to upgrade to a Bonebreaker via mammon, that weapon would outclass the Titans Hammer easily. If your not going to upgrade to a Bonebreaker and staying with Tarbar VS Titans Hammer, then the only thing you should really worry about is if your going to use shots or have buffs on at least a semi-regular basis.
No shots or buffs - Tarbar (Ugly looking though...)
Shots and/or buffs - Titans Hammer (Good for manor!)
[I personally used the Titans Hammer spamming shots on the PTS, and it worked great for that. My Dwarves on live, made it out of D grade before C5 hit, and used a Bonebreaker instead.]
