This is for people who just started, do stupid things, see silly things, past or present:

For me last night upon reading a guide a catacombs being the place to level I took my noob char lvl 20 in there...squatted like a fly lol.....forgot the part that it says you need to team. :o

Upon my descent into the catacombs....I managed to fall through the water all the way to bottom, must be that fat orc ***, right down like a lead shot, 'dmg 2378 from fall'....um I only have 900hp and I lived. :)

You need a team there? News to me.

A duo (poler+SO/SE) is nice, though. Especially when the poler can spoil, too.
Lol that stinks, I say once around lvl 20(if you have top D grade), go to the Necroplis under Gludin.
Otherwise, get a team going :).
Apologies (noob again) I meant the necros!

cant die from fall damage or from poison

just watch out for the mob 50 lvls lower than you that comes and kills you in 1 hit doing only 2 damage :P
Oh lol :D
Like what Akjosch said, poler and SO/SE is nice for exp.
Since Vampire Rage heals you while fighting plus poler's can kill quite a few at a time.

Try shouting for a group in Necroplis

So you did this with your level 20 newbie without twinked gear? Gratz to you, I guess.

Academy armor and 2nd best D pole. Finding an SO is a much harder task, though :p

Right. I see that is "typical" gear for a new player.
Typical gear for a newbie spoiler, to be honest.
Getting back onto the original post ..... :p

Hitting a raid boss because you don't realise what it is and can't understand why a green mob kills you with one shot ;)
When someone tells you: "Just remember to gloom the boss" - and you do it.

Straight away.

I've never seen someone drop as fast as that poor necromancer. :(

They probably omitted "run in circles..." part as obvious :p

The tank from a group grinding in the area targets a RB to read a description... noone died, as the DD missed.

The group goes after Tirak (lvl 28 raid boss in FT). The leader tells everyone to buy (greater? don't remember) antidotes. The raid starts, both tanks get poisoned immediately, the healer runs out of MP in less than a minute. "Why didn't you use antidotes? - We had no money to buy them". Since then, Cure Poison is on my healing bar :D
No - they ommited the 'after after we start fighting' part, because it just seemed too obvious.

The rest of the raid had not even started buffing up.
...a Shillien Saint gives empower-Wild Magic-Vampiric Rage to all archers in party Oo

Had to ask the real buffs to another SE in party.

The rest of the raid had not even started buffing up.

I've seen an archer in the same circumstances dying twice in a row.

But hadn't you already zerked the boss?
No, not yet. ^^: Nothing.
Destroying my top NG hammer while I was supposed to destroy the apprentice club.. >.<

PVP'ing without soulshots!

PVP'ing Necros............. WITHOUT jewelry! 17K damage kthxggbye (I forget when switching classes)

Pressing BSOE instead of BREZ in my inventory while raiding TOI 8... that's a LOOONG dangerous walk for a mid 60s SWS alone.

"Buffing" Return 2 instead of holy weapon on my prophet (same button, different bar). Pretty hard to cancel Return 2 in time..

Hitting Snipe by mistake when the group is moving........ (self-root)

The group in SoS caught Orfen, and it was the first time I was trying to use Party Recall in a hurry.

The first thing I did when I appeared in Oren was to completely remove Return from the bars :o
It seems every EE does this once.

I'll pull single target return off once I get PR2 and just place an emergency MP potions next to the PR button.
True, every EE I know have done that mistake.. only thing that used to be more funny was back in Prelude/C1 in Cruma.. getting invite to a "certain" type of party and party return them all BUAAHAHAHAHA!
A friend of mine did this one when he first started on TI ......

Chase the NPC around that shouts various phases. He kept asking what the NPC was talking about and couldn't understand why they wouldn't answer him :o

A lvl 76+ Hawkeye with a nice glowy Drac bow asking a SE for VR and Emp....

Why not? They're such awesome buffs :p
when u tell people you need to go to gludin to drop off shots for your alt, and your group goes ... "where?"

For the first week of Prelude, I was calling the talking mobs bots because they said the same thing over and over and wouldn't answer me. :o
I hunted in Eg with my nuker, targeted the raidboss at the dead mans trees, to check what level, and forgot to target something else befor I nuked :( opss

a bit after that, I switched to my prophet (in BW robes) and i asked a random guy (nuker with a pet and duals, lvl~30 or so) if he wanted free buffs.
his answer was: "?????" and he buffed me.....................
I once asked why the hell dwarves could craft blessed spiritshots because I figured they had to take reg ones to a church or something like a quest to bless them at first.
I've been doing noob raids lately and I think I met an ultra noob the other day.

Level 19, dark fighter, using +4 D grade duals, saying they can't wait to get into Brig to run faster. I said brig doesn't add to run speed and they said "but it has extra HP". Never mind the grade penalty from the duals right?

The entire raid party was at the boss and she was far far behind, said we need to stick together as a party. I ran back to get her and ran back to the party, She got lost again even so, was in sight of the party yet started running the opposite direction.

She offered to swap two EAD's for 1 EWD (lol) to make her weapon "better". I said EAD's are around 50k and EWD's around 500k. She said ok 4 ead's then.

Later on in the raids she started flagging on every member in the party, mind you we were all 10 levels higher. Someone one shotted her and she was shocked.. heh.

Again at another raid, everyone including her were at the boss. A new person ported in, she ran to meet them. 10 mins later the new person was with the party and she was lost again.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Or pk maybe.
