Quest for Fishing Shots - Still broken??

I took up fishing shot quest and continued playing, after few tiresome quests I recalled that it was bugged before I left. So I abandoned it and behold. Quest item drop jumped from 1 every 5 or so mobs to drop every other mob. This can't be just coincidence... Any news about this bugged quest?

I just did it with two different characters and it worked just fine for both.

Maybe it was my imagination then. I guess I'll pick it up again and try. I need to reset myself to patient grinding from "gimmeallnowkkthxbye" kind of grind in WoW :P

Works fine for me, have over 10,000 fluids...Guess who dont fish much :)

The drop rate seems to be heavy at times, then none for hours.

Had where 12 dropped in 30min and then none in a 6 hour session
