Is better sell or use Pollen ?

Each pollen is around 40K and it is fast to sell.
What items come from drops ?

I've been buying them, I'll be making a profit off my pollen drops a few weeks (or months) after the event.

For a starter, it might be best to sell - but it's much more fun to use, and even a little more profitable if you have some self-restraint.

unless u need the guarenteed money, make the big pumpkins. someone was shouting in dion yesterday about getting 3 bewa from one of em.

saving up a bit, will likely sell them on sunday when the end is coming to make some decent cash.

I could use the cash :-P

I always used my pollen but I am thinking about selling since they are 40K each

I know, I'm suppose to keep them for the clan Squashing event, but the first night I got 66 Pollens and just couldn't resist using them all.

From 4 large pumpkins I got 12 ead, 2ewd, 6eac, 2ewc, 2 or 3 eab, 1 ewb and 1 eaa and may be 15-25 buffpotions. That's far from statistic, but it gives an idea of the drops. I had 2 high quality and 2 low quality pumpkins.
Got my helm to +1, 1.9k D cry and whent to +6 on mith dagger. Still got bunch more enchants sitting in WH.

Not at all Es. :o We'll have plenty of fun even if everyone only brings one pumpkin, don't stress out. I've broken plenty. ^_^

Its not worth the EADs if you have like 100 pollen and thats a lot of money if you think about it for some people. Especially since you gotta gather like 18 people to destroy an Emperor Pumpkin lol.

2 people with buffs can do the emperor pumpkin, and 5 people unbuffed can do it with no problems. Generally, you just say thanks and that's it.

The EADs will be worth around 100k each once the price recovers on Devianne - I'm willing to wait for that.

Ya, the drop rate in non peak hours is really slow, however last night was really good. Best to pick peak hours for best results.

Change what kind of mobs you hunt.

I've noticed some mob types give very low pollen, as other types of mobs give very good pollen.

Also late at night EST they drop like candy.

I had about 36 of them and found a buy shop wanting 24k for each, so i sold all of em. Made a nice profit of 900,000 :D

it is better to sell. i just did a large and got 6 greater magic haste pots. Thats it. worth 100k at the most. coulda gotten 2.2m for it, instead i get 6 magic haset pots.

Also late at night EST they drop like candy.

i hunted for 2 buff rounds and got 60 tonite. just some DC enchants. dropped rlly good from 1am~2am. est.

I sell all of mine (made around 6 mill from one hard days work). Use that adena to buy up EAD and C, EWD and C scrolls dirt cheap from ppl that want to unload them. Wait for a few weeks for the prices of thoes to go up and then sell the scrolls. If you do things right you can almost double the money you make just from selling the pollen.

Here in Europeland we are getting very little pollen as we play out of US peak times (thanks for re-using this event and not even bothering to change that). Prices on Devianne have hit 70k per pollen to buy, which makes it break-even only if you get a really decent Emperor squash. So selling your pollen is prolly the way to go on Devianne.

I've gotten only junk opening them during the high drop rate times (even the good ones).

I had a whole slew of scrolls during other times of the day... did they balance the event over this? :p

I would have to say keep them and use them for potential what you can get...my second squash got 1EWA 2EAA 2EWB 4-5EAC 4-5EAD...almost took up the rest of my inventory...made a cool sound though when the squash opened...like 25 items dropped at one time :)

It's probably better to sell it but I enjoy opening them no matter what comes out.

I sell my pollen. And I break other people's squash open. Best of both worlds, except I don't get anything for breaking one.

Did three large pumpkins with 3 of my clanmates, 2 were high quality and one was an emperor.

We got about 8 EAD, 4EWD, 2EAB, 2 EWS :) and various buff pots.

Why sell pollen when you can BUY pollen! I've spent about 5 mill and made back 20+ mill in enchants and potions. I got lucky with a EWA with a small squash (King version).

The pollen is pretty cheap on Devianne (20-22k). So it's only 1.2 mill or less to buy a large squash seed, and a fairly decent chance at getting a EWC or atleast a couple EWD's with a bunch of EAD thrown into the mix so you always make a small profit or atleast break even (in my case atleast).

I've seen people get 3 EAA in one go.

The best thing of all about this event is it's fun jsut breaking out your chrono and smacking some squash. I find it exciting even to see what other people get lol...constantly moving my cursor over their scrolls. I love this event, though it would be nice if more pollen dropped during slower periods of the day (like midnight onward).

I've been killing light blue to white for hours and only got 3 pollen. So I ask you.. Where's the fun?

I'm playing on Franz : the pollen's price is 7k adena so nearly everybody use it and not sell... I'm lvl 30 and it could be good if it worth 40k adena ^^

I spent 20 mil on pollen and collected nearly 400 grinding. Got a red stage 11 crystal and over 100 scrolls. My net if i use market average on items exceeds 100 mil. A small seeds.

It helps to give up feeding a pumpkin if it fails on the first try, why keep feeding it if you know the best you will get is a high quality, odds are you will end up with a low quality.

well, I have yet not noticed any diff from any quality squashes.
one low quality gave me 9 enchant scrolls (2 EWD, 7 EAD) while one high quality gave me 2 A crystals. explain that <.<
