ooo yea I like the idea NCSoft. So this means you guys are finally owning to the fact you cant transfer equipment or adena between other players? I thought Richard Garriot quoted saying that ebay was ok?
Its ok though...I found out today when I was closing one of my accounts out that you cant transfer gold or equipment to another player. Not one lick.
FYI to all of you out there...your going to have to find another way to share stuff now with other players. I have tried everything. Besides selling. Which is the only alternative. My feelings on this is there should be a way to share with clan members. I guess not. Clan leader cant even put into the warehouse so the other clan member can take it out. Go figure.
There should be a way around this issue but I can play the game NCSoft directs me to. Just a headsup to all of you that the rules have changed.

There is still the bug where nothing shows up in the trade window if that's what you mean. It's a P.I.T.A. but reload the client and it'll work just fine.
You select target you want to trade with, and hit icon depicting 2 shaking hands in Action tab in character window.
Or you can select the person, and type /trade (and hit enter) in chat box.
For player you are trading with, small dialog pops up at the bottom of the screen saying "Rages is asing for trade, do you want to confirm" or something like that.
After that, both of you should have window that is split to 3 parts:
- your inventory
- items you offer to trade
- item your trading partner offers to trade
When you are OK with what you and partner put in trade window, you confirm by clicking OK at the bottom of the window. Whoever clicked OK, it's part of window turns gray. Your partner must confirm trade too. After you both confirm, you are set.
If you happen to have bug, where you cannot see what is in your inventory (you have trading window completely empty, try one of following:
- put as much stuff to your inventory as you can - unequip all armor, jewelry, ... - it usually appears when you have very few things in inventory, or you relogged few times through "relog" button.
- restart client, possibly restart computer.
I logged back into the account and just now tested it. Withdrew my adena from the warehouse and tried to transfer to the other player and it works.
whew!!! I thought it was a rather neat idea on NCSofts part to curb the useage of ebay sells n such. I guess not :cool:
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Everything works now. That had to have been the wierdest bug I have ever experienced. Couldnt transfer my equipment or adena. You know how the academy circlet and the Coin book wont show up in trade window? Thats what I had with the equipment/adena. ...no problem it works ok now and btw I think its the coffee I am drinking...better lay off the stuff
Actually, you don't need to reload your game or restart or even close the trade window. The bug is because the scrollbar on the trade window is rolled down where you cannot see the contents.
Next time you get this 'bug' just click in the part of the window where your items should be and scroll up to the top. PRESTO!! your items are all there and ready to trade :)
