where to level at 18

Right now most of the spots I try leveling at are slow due to having to fight with the farmers for mobs.

Is there any good spots for a DE fighter at 18 to solo that don't tend to be swarmed by dwarves?
Go to Gludio, and run straight up(north). I forgot that that lil area is called but it's lower extremety of the Neutral zone island, but it has a very desenly populated area, so your mob to mob run time is minimized. Good xp too.
that works

didn't take long to hit 19 there (and soon 20 after doing the quests)
I usually stay there till like 24-25, because of the mob density =)
well will likley be using it a bit, but wanted to hit 19 so I could start the knight quest.

and may be getting into an academy soon, so maybe get the armor quest (and a hand)
Sorry to "borrow" your thread, but when is the best time to make the transition from starting area to mainland? I'm at level 15 and am wondering if I should head off to Gludio yet.
That depends on your equipment and adena.

15 may be a little low for the area we're talking here, but Gludin has some mobs that would be good for your level.

Ruins of Agony, Windmill Hill are good as well.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try those places the next time I'm in-game.
From levels 18 to 21 the best place to level is to exclusively kill Stone Guardians in front to the School of Dark Arts. They give very good xp and sp and are easy to kill.

If your on TI stay there...

It is a great place to level. You can work up towards the northern coast and do the spider skin quest with the farmer dude and get free soul shots! It is great! :D

You will hit lvl 20 soon enough, and travel all around the world till your eyes bleed to get your class transfer done. When and if you ever hit lvl 60 you will start to miss your little island...
I'm doing that one now. :)
Although the neutral zone isn't too far from DE village, generally hunting around beginning of class change quest area is most efficient.
You can level all toons to 20 in the starter regions--that's why the starter areas are constructed as they are.

You can do well inside of Soda at 18. Lots of bots around spider's nest but they veer off if you target mobs so it shouldn't slow you down too much to hunt there.

I finished off all my toons around Swamp, Spiders nest, Soda for DE's.
Then you can then start quest at 19 and will just about be to 20 when you complete it.

Generally I don't advise folks to leave starter areas before 20 cause there is no reason to. You already KNOW the mobs around your starter area--what's the point of going to a new region where you've never even seen the mob types and have to learn them all over again?
I always left starting villages at lvl 15-16 and lvled south of Gludin until like lvl 18/19.
i always lvl at windmill hill from 15ish to 20
