Hey there, I recently created an trial account for lineage 2 as i got tired of World of Warcraft, now im currently a level 17 Dark elf fighter and rising.
I was wondering if someone could take me under their wing and teach me the basics, as for now i've just targeted mobs and pressed attack ;) And when I say take me under their Wing I do NOT mean giving me money, getting me buffed gear and such. All I want is to get to know Lineage 2 a bit more ;) Like, What classes I should take, where i should go and kill at that level, How certain features work, How does pet works. etc
I am from Norway, so if by any chance there is some skilled norwegians out that to help me, that would be great ;)
I usually play from 5pm till 10 pm gmt +1 and in weekends a lot more. So anyone that is online during that time would be a big +.
Well, no one can tell you what class to play, as that is a decision only you can make. No one class out-performs the rest so drastically that players favor it to the exculsion of others, and anyone who does, does so under false impressions.
All of the information on the classes available to you are posted on this site, simply visit the library and look for the "Races, Classes, and Skills" section.
As for the in-game information on how to best utilize the system and the interface, that can best be done on ventrilo where another experienced player can verbally walk you through it, rather than trying to explain via text.
To ease the learning process I suggest you find a good clan of reliable players and join them to gain help as you find your own way to play, and the method and style that suits you best.
Teon is a large, well established server, so there are many clans of level 5 and higher looking for new faces in their academies. Finding a clan should be no trouble at all, though I reccomend staying away from the larger, more political clans.

that's not kind, that's getting free rep points from newbies. you could have asked for (and gotten) several hundred thousand adena if you stood around in town shouting noob looking to join academy.
