Trials...

I was just wondering, do you think the L2 trials are working? I remember last time for the buddy keys, the devs said it didn't work too well (well it worked on me getting back into L2) but for some reason this time it feels like a lot more people joined in.
Where'd they say they didn't work?
I mean as in working to get new players to join Lineage 2.
Understood but where did they say that? I'm not disputing you, I just want to read it myself.

Had new players join for every trial account I had...the Oath of Blood expansion box was supposed to have trial keys in them, but nope :(

Yes, they work, the problem is mostly that the way they're given out often just leads to our automated buddies sucking them up.
According to MMORPG.com the keys are working. But the new players are having issues due to the amount of "certain people" at all of the starter Towns.

Then there's the Grind...
I saw a disk in the checkout line at Fred Meyer today. It was for a 14-day WoW trial and was $1.99. If I hadn't already tried WoW, I would've bought it (although I could probably get it for free if I looked around).
I get free WoW trials thrown at me all the time...even a beta key.

Downloaded the client, then decided nah, wasn't going to start it.
