I joined L2 a couple week back. To me it seems like a good game. I used up my trial and decided to buy the game 20+ bucks. But like everyone there is a time I need help and it is now. However I need some help (alot). I am a lvl 34 DE, Assassin. I have D-Grade Mith bestplate, Mith Gaiters, Hoplon Shield, Helmet, Mith dagger. No gloves or boots, no accessories. I have 8k adena, a couple Materials, and 1k in dss. Thats basiclly it I have a hard time lvling took me 3 days to get to 34 from 33. That was playing around 8 hours a day. What do you Bartz fellows think I should do? I can not kill very fast and die easily LoL. Suggestion, comments, feedback, etc... All will be helpful, where to kill, upgrades, ideas will help am sure.
Assasins are a little hard to Solo with a dagger. Best thing, each time you leave town, try and get yourself SE, or at least Prophet buffs. You know that rediculous "Reccomend" function we have? use it. Many buffers are quite happy to buff you if you Rec them. If you don't have these buffs, then you need to Spam SS/HP/Alacricity pots (you can't competely rely on the Herb drops)
But some of the good places to solo are: Execution grounds, Breaka's Stronghold, Cruma swamps
I don't know when you're on, but I have a Knight right around your level that I'd love to duo with
Some clans have clanhalls in the lower towns providing buffs and teleport options to hunting grounds. Visit town and speak to the NPC in front of the halls to learn more about the clans holding it.
Most clans also have an academy running with experienced players around, willing to give you some info on how to gain experience and money most efficiently.
I have tried Execution grounds and it seems to give 2k per kill with some herbs drop. I do not know if this is good. I will try Breaka's Stronghold, and Cruma swamps this weekend. I was also told my armor is to heavy, and not to use a shield. They told me (random players i asked) to get lighter armor, except I can't exchange it (over lvl 25).
