Dark Elfs are good at crits
Light Elves are really fast
Humans are in between
HE much HP, low run speed, cause of high CON options to boost STR and DEX with tatoos. Good dmg and specials like snipe. Kites not very often!*
PR lowest HP, good run speed, cause of low CON not so much options to boost any other stats, but good crit rate and made for extra dmg. Kites often up to a lot!*
SR mid HP, very fast run speed, cause of the mid CON stat a small option to boost other stats, very good at crits but lesser dmg that HE and PR. Kites a lot!*
After you hit a lvl wall all archers need to kite more or less.
SRs have very respectable PvE DPS where they are willing to sacrifice range - excellent damage dealers.
Slight off topic maybe, but a lot of daggers use bows for PvE too...it all depends of playstyle in the end, but sometimes you can cross borders if you are open to it yes.
end game...HE is the powerhouse, for soloing and leveling up fast at low levels, SR is good, never played a PR, but have fought them a few times, and they hurt like hell.
I like the SR for speed and evasion, my friend is a 77+ HE...just pure power ( and with the high con, can take A LOT of damage)...the PRs that i fought, stun landed 2/3 times because of their low con.
+ up your dex if you go SR...then your strength won't really matter, because you'll be critting so much anyway :)

yeah, they may be strong than an SR but they don't crit more, and end game archers with a Drac Bow/Focus Sa, crits 3/5 times anyway and put more buffs, like song of hunter...
and ant ring....almost every hit is a crit, no matter what class
he he ... another archer for my TK to kill Bravo Bravo <clap> <clap> < clap> /root <you cant move> /tribunal <you can't Crit to save your life> and if I turn guard stance on I accualy do more dmg to you per swing of sword to your 1 arrow LOL <3
You must fight SR's :P But yeh, damage on tanks is pathetic.. but throw in a BD for the archer and the tank is toasty. Root doesn't land all that great, 30% perhaps on me with 1k mdef and aegis 4, so don't rely on it! Shield stun is my biggest gripe.
HE = Hawk Eye, human archer.
and for tank root... UE/rapid fire, :), hit harder and faster, and like mulch, get some dances...tank = dead...
but shield stun on me is for sure 90% and thats in majestic..
it's broken :(
