Items help for a newbie

Player Questions Started Last reply 11 posts
Hi I'm only starting but I have a question.

When I'm searching a merchant, items have thier names in certain colors like white, yellow or purple.

What does this mean exactly? Do it say or mean what I can equip...or what. Really sorry for the stupid question.
Well if there are player shops purple are selling things, yellow are buying things.
Talking about shops?

Yellow shops are buy shops, people open these to buy stuff...so if you put in your stuff and click ok, they will purchase it so you get some adena.

Purple shops are just the other way around = sell shops

Red shops are sell shops in bulk = you buy the whole shop in 1 go.

I hope this answered your question.
From 0-20 you can use No grade Items, from 20-40 D Grade stuff. The color im not to sure. Im so what new my self. R you talking about the normal shop in town>
Just in general. I buzzed to Giran but even in the newbie Dark Elven city the REALLY expensive stuff was purple colored while the stuff i accually could afford was white.

And in player shops some items are green...just confuses me.

Everyone probably thinks i'm stupid

AAAH I get it

Its just to indicate the price...

1k is white
10k is bluegreen
100k purple
1M yellow
10M green
100M bluegreen again
1B purple
okay one last thing I suppose, How can I tell what I can or cannot equip? When buying things at least.
ok .. it depends on your level.
0-19 is Non-Grade equipment
20-39 is D-grade equipment
40-51 is Cgrade equipment
52-60 is Bgrade equipment
61-75 is Agrade equipment
76+ is Sgrade

you can always equip items and equipment that is lower than your grade( like if you're lvl 44, you can use Dgrade fine)
but you get penalties if you equip higher than your grade (like if you're lvl 44 and you try and use Bgrade)
and the item will have a little letter next to it to say if it's Dgrade and up, non grade has nothing
AHHHH okay, that makes sense to me now. You guys are the best putting up with me.
