I'm sorry if I ignore you guys again with my posting but I want to know for sure.
I want to play retail. What do I need?
I have downloaded the client and its all updated (currently im playing the 14 day trial). Now I have two options: from a local store, I can buy a Timecard or I can buy the full game + some free days of gameplay.
What do I have to buy? Will a timecard do, or do I have to buy the whole game + the timecard (because someone said I needed a cd key).
Would suck if I have to buy the whole game because the delivery time is 2 to 3 weeks... and I wanna play... ASAP

anyways, thanks

Not sure if you need a CD key after the trial.. but you can buy that online if that is the case.

I would think you ether....

A. input your credit card into to pay for game time..Get yourself a game time card.

Or

B. buy the online game code

But mistryl will have to chime in as i think there are different game trials.
wow, thanks for the quick reply :)
So I probably can buy a timecard, insert the key in my playNC account and 'upgrade' my trial account into a 'full' account...

yea think it works that way.. but as i havent tried it or heard any offical response its not 100%
You must buy a retail code, or the time card will not be acepted. I learn this the hard way. Best way is to buy the collector editon that just came out. You get 30 days for free, plus the dvd. So your paying like $15 for the retail code, and paying $15 for that month. So total cost is $ 30.

ok.. but he can still buy a online CDkey if he dont whant to wait... i know i bought my sec account from there website.
yeah, I think i'll do that, because I dont want to wait 3 weeks till I can play.
So I have to buy a retail code, after that, I have to buy a TimeCard. Or do I get 30 days for free just like with the Epic Collectors Edition?
well, I got a response from NCsoft trough e-mail and they gave me a link to 'how to activate your trial account'. So I do know how do update my trial acount so that I can continue to play. But... this triggers another question :P. When my trial account is over, will it be deleted? Can I still 'activate' the trial account after these 14 days?
Yes you can use your trial account still :)
