Just recently moved and switched from a ground line cable internet provider to a sat. provider...
But now when I try to log into the game the same way I always have(Bartz server) before it sends me to the character selection page I get booted... any ideas guys?

u get booted back to the windows OS or it says disconnected from the game ?
Sattelite is gonna be horrible for gaming, you dont have the high, and constant rates that you do with cable, and also depending on where you live, you may not have a stable connection.
I have a question: what do you mean by "satellite connection"? Just to be sure, because many people call satellite connection anything that requires some sort of directional antenna for transmitting data. So not only up/downlink to space device that resides above our planet, but also wifi, wimax, FWA or any licensed radio frequency data connection.
If it is to that space satellite - well, good luck, bandwidth is awesome but latency can go up to several seconds.
