So, I'm playing a little with my level 17 (so far) Human Mystic, killing stuff near Gludin. Not because it's the best place to level, really, just because it's the most convenient one. Of course, the place has a fair amount of PKers, which is fine by my - I can use the SP and fighting them is fun.
Or it was fun, in any case. Seems like there's no more quality PKers out there. :(
Yesterday a dagger wielder (Elven Scout, probably) killed me. I could actually land a single spell on her before she did it, and guess what - no jewels to speak of. One rebuff, target macro setup and over ten times dead PKer later, I left the place. Where's the point when she (level 32, according to own admission) dies before she can even reach me most of the time?
Today, I was back there again, and already heard the cries of dying newbies. Great, let's start the game! This time it was a magic user, who actually managed to kill me even though I did almost 1000 HP worth of damage. Not bad, this time the PKer even had some low-quality jewels. Before I could have my revenge, she logged out, though. Meh.
Shortly thereafter, another red character appeared. Not wanting to be rude, I waited and didn't attack first. Well, her Energy Bolt instantly ate through my CP and dropped my HP to double-digit numbers. My Wind Strike did a fair amount of damage, though (no jewelry, again?), cancelled her next spell and seemingly broke her nerves - she started to run, right into an aggressive bear. Between my second Wind Strike and the bear, she fell and disappeared, not showing up again.
Disappointed, I hunted a little more on the field, but no other PKer showed up.
Where are all of those quality PKers out there, really? Did all of them move to the Execution Grounds and Cruma Marshlands? Nobody wants to have a little fun with no-grade newbies anymore? :(
