Help getting to C grade~

I've had countless characters in D grade. Well, not COUNTLESS, but, more than a few.

I haven't on the other hand, ever had one in C grade. I'm getting really discouraged.

As of now, I've got a Scavenger, at level 29, and an Artisan, at level 21. I've also got an Up-and-coming Elven Knight, who's level 14.

I always hit a wall at... around level 34. And, for some reason, I give up.

I'm looking for ANY tips on getting at least ONE character into C grade, or, at the very least, their class change.

ANYthing wouldbe Wonderful.

Try getting at least one of those toons into an academy. Party lots.
Find something to do along with grinding, pick a quest around your level and work on it, often you can get an entire level finishing some of the quests up.
try playing a class which is actually fun to play
i recomend archer or mage
More like, try playing a class that YOU think is fun to play ><
Normally I would go pretty *meh* at these kinds of posts, but for some obscure reason I really don't now.

If you are still DG, its very likely you have Dion as your main town for supplies...If not go over there and start shouting for a group.

of course some classes like SO, Cleric, tanks, DD's are most of the time favoured, but a good scavenger should be able to find groups too. Artisan...well thats harsh to find groups with.

Experiment a bit with your chars, see which one you like the most, then focus on that one.
I don't really know where you are gear-wise, but when you actually figured out what char you really like, it might be wise to put all your resources on that one. It is a fact that a well equipped char bores way less then a mediocre equipped one.

Oh yes, what server are you on?
At 34th I would goto the Execution Grounds and global for a party in the catacomb there, I think you can grind on mops in EG and still reach that catacomb thru global. So that should give you something to do while waiting on a party.

I'm on Erica, unfortunatly. -_-

And, thanks to everyone who commented here, for me~

Erica, unfortunatly.

On Erica? Nothing unfortunate about that. There are plenty of good people on Erica and I know lots of people in your level range who would be happy to party with you. In fact I have a scavy and a human wizard at lvl 27 myself.
Nothing wrong with erica, but it seems like u need to decide what u wanna become when u grow up, and stick with it. Then when that is done join a academy. I think we got some room in our academy even, well w/ever if u like to pm your toons name and i can try sometime to get ahold of u.

This is normal. You are approaching the level where the mobs are slightly more difficult to kill relative to your Grade expertise.

This is one of the primary reasons why hunting Green mobs is highly recommended. Ignore Whites and Yellows unless they are weak to your skill set or weapon type.

Secondly, you should determine early on the type of hunting style that suits you (i.e., ranged, hand to hand, group, solo, etc.). Pick your class only after you decide that. I do not suggest picking a class solely on the basis of whether or not it rakes in adena, or will one day be uber when it reaches level 75+. You'll lose interest very quickly if the fighting style doesn't give you some immediate sense of enjoyment, satisfaction, reward and/or accomplishment.

Finally, take some pride in your toon. At D grade, you're just griefer bait, and not much else. You rolled your character to see what life is like beyond the 2nd Class Change horizon. You owe it to yourself to get to C grade. Trust me when I say that the game gets to be more enjoyable after 40.
Also, every character you have mentioned so far has been melee, and in the cases of the dwarves, the slowest and hardest to level melee out there. The Elven Knight won't be that much better.

Although I do recommend keeping the scavenger, as it can be a great moneymaker, melee in general might not be for you. If you're bound and determined to go melee, a dagger user or orc may be more to your taste.

I'd suggest giving an archer or nuker a try -- they level a lot faster and they may be more to your taste.

yup thats what i suggested
also when i was a noob dorf 34-40 was pretty harsh so i suggest you get to 35 and start the job change quests at least
Set goals and aim for something. Personally i found RB's good way to lvl doing 2 lvl's in a hour mid 20's. If soloing sucks join a active clan and hunt with friends. Bad news is lvling only gets slower :)
