Has anyone else seen this problem? We fished and fished and turned in 194 clan hall decrees. When the qualifying period ended, we got a message saying we failed to qualify. When the competition started, only 2 clans competed, both from the same alliance. This has happened 2 cycles in a row.
I'm not sure if they have friends loading up the decrees and then not showing up, or if there's a glitch somewhere. Any ideas?
Not really completely related to the topic, but still: Has anyone else noticed that the competition was shifted for 2 hours? It was 1 AM at my place, and there was no system message saying anything. First, we thought we didn't qualify cause we didn't have enough decrees, and we thought maybe if you don't qualify you don't get any message at all. Then, i went to the messenger just to check something, and i noticed he's now saying that the registration deadline is 19:00:00. This is two hours later than it used to be. Is this an error, or was it planned? If this was planned, we should have been notified of this change :(. It was really hard to wait till 2AM during week as it was, now it's just impossible. 4AM during week is not something people can usually do.

I'd wager the alliance is turning in a massive number with alt clans to make sure they keep it. I believe the same thing is done on my server; when we lost the hall, we only had 2 competitors and I know 6 different clans who tried.
Kind of lame if you ask me. When my clan took it, we of course knew we could do that, but decided we'd be good sports and give everyone their chance.
Of couse, we also lost it :p thought IMO better to lose it fairly than to try to rig the contest so we can't lose.
Agreed. This was one competition that wasn't related to who had the best gear. It's a shame that some clans feel the need to take even that away from those who don't have the best of everything.
Lost our defense of it today thought, kind of sucks that you loose more rep point then you can taking it... not very balanced.
Yeah, that part kinda sucks, especially as the contest comes down to a ton of randomness. There is some skill involved, and of course going in with a full party, but once you understand the strategy, playing against another team that understands, then it's all luck, unlike castle sieges. Apart from being cheap and trying to stack the deck, or coming against a team that doesn't understand how to play, you really only have a 1 in 4 chance to defend successfully.
