Infernal Form

Just want to know if any of the other tyrants and destroyers notice any differance with infernal form??
Considering the skill desciption says that it applies to all physical attacks, and I've tried it out many times and I expect to see some differance atleast but I can't see any differance at all.
Am I totally of the map with this observation??

I entered a support ticket to get it confirmed but all they said was that they would look into it, havn't heard a word since.
Perhaps Mistryl or any of the other GM's can shed some light on the matter.
It adds fire attack to your weapon. Are you sure the mobs had Fire Attack weak point?
I have tried on fire weak mobs as well, it made me do 10 more in damage.

So then the question is, do you have to be a plant to be hurt by fire?? I can understand that you take less damage when having resist fire, but in normal circumstances isn't it supposed to add something??

ATM this self buff is completely useless in 98% of the game
That's kinda my feeling. It doesn't seem to do much most of the time. On the other hand, it doesn't cost much mana either. So, I try to remember to apply it ever few minutes. Maybe you and I just aren't in the right places. However, a Destroyer will never have much worries about mana running out, so maybe it isn't so bad that a skill that probably uses some mana doesn't really use much, even if that skill has limited effect. Mana Burn? Bring it on!
Infernal form, for the most part, is useless; it really doesn't shine in many places because you won't find many monters that use fire or are weak to fire. Two locations that Infernal Form comes in handy at are the Valley of Saints and the Forest of the Dead; both have fire-nuking mobs, and the latter has fire weak mobs during the night (some during the day, but not as many). Also, Infernal Form is nice in pvp against sorcerors, because it can't be canceled by Surrender to Fire, unlike Resist Fire =)
Agreed it's useless tried it a couple of time only ,and it wasn't long before i got it out of my bar Hopefully Nc in next chronical will put in skills that really are useful not just plasibo skills.IMO infernal form is no more then a "there u go now shut up "add on then an actual and useful skill
So the conclusion basicly is that in NCsofts world everything is invulnerable to fire except a few fire weak mobs, unless its a nuke from a sorc.

And regarding VoA and FoD, i've been there. Or more accurate, I've been dead there. Those two spot are almost only for nukers, to much hills and nuking mobs, since tyrants atleast have crap mdef.
*shrugs* I level in VoS and FoD on my destroyer, and as far as I know, Destroyers and Tyrants have the same m.def potential... I've found that infernal form saves me enough HP to not have to worry about hp pots; I just grab the nice herbs that drop. =)
There are some nice spots for meleing toon in FotD as well. Grinded my WC there was getting like 4% an hour there solo and manoring.

You cannot have only useful skills in this game.
*cough* wind shackle ... serenade of eva ... *cough*
Both windshackle and sereande are good when used right. ;)
Yep, I used WindShackle ayt times to help reduce the beating a tank is getting. Very useful at times in Cats, or places like EV.
absolutely right, its not a very effective skill. lets say, and i dont know if this is exact, that it increases damage to fire-weak mobs by about 2% and reduces damage from fire attacks by about 2%. thats pretty nice if you consider that you could be fighting a mob which both has fire attacks and is weak to fire, like most of the mobs in FoD. but the real point of the skill is a sort of storyline effect, that skill IS your connection to the fire from which you were created. i dont understand then, why the other non-mutt (that is to say, non-human) races dont get a similar skill. it is possible that the elves somehow lost the skill, what with all the antics of shillen, but the dwarves certainly would not have lost their heritage. NC just wanted to shaft them.
