Is it the same as it is for players? ie, say it takes 30M experience to be level 40 (no idea if accurate or not) will it take the same amount of xp for a pet to reach that level?

No, pets level much faster (although I believe not all of them at the same rate).

Thanks, I was thinking of working on a strider, but looking at how long it took me to get to 55 I was starting to have doubts.

Don't know if they all level as fast but I know that leveling a pet takes a great deal of effort to get it up and rising. Most important is that you choose an area that is ofthe level of your pet so the risk is lower.

Well, getting a hatchie 35-56 is much easier than doing the same with a player! :p

I love your animation.

Thanks, I found it on the net somewhere, but it generally depicts what happens when I spend any sort of time on a computer.
