I am trying to find a good FAQ on the Festivals in Dawn/Dusk for my clan. does anyone have any links or any info. Basically, I am getting information that makes it sound like you can't win in them which doesn't make sense.
We are trying to figure this out to use in makeing Rep points.
The only way you can "win" a festival is by getting the most points. There is no end to the festival ... mobs will keep spawning as long as some1's standing. In order to "win" you need good party, good equipment and good coordination.
You pick a side, whichever. You probably will have less competition if you pick dawn. Then people wont go freeking out and trying to beat your score....
You will get ported inside, all you buffs will be removed.
Monsters will continuously spawn. When you kill them please be sure to pick up what they drop.
In order to "win" and get clan rep points, you must have the highest score for that level range and the end of the competition week.
So, is there a teleport gatekeeper in there we talk to to leave or do we want BSOE's on everyone since the spawn doesn't stop??
This then means, that you can only earn 100 points per person per week in festival, it isn't like the rift where you get to the end and its over with then and there?
A festival round lasts 20 minutes, there's a gatekeeper in the center who can teleport you out or make the room harder. Your score is totaled after each round. You can try as many times as you want within a week.
No you just need to be better than anyone else who plays them. On lionna 8k is a normal score with dusk usually getting 8.5k or so and dawn in the high 7's to low 8's
The game keeps track of the top score for the week in each level division. At the end of the week whoever has it is the winner of the points for 7 signs as well as the rep points. Then its all reset once the next competition period begins.
If you get a chance, the Lionna FoDders have gotten quite good at it, 8.5k scores fairly regularly. Its quite awesome to see them in action.

There are way too many bots ingame.
Thus what you will see in festivals are often top ebayed chars, who can afford a full party of nukers and chain-nuke mobs with an offline brain.
When is NC gonna remove bots so ebayers leave? Though I'd love to see every ebayer being simply banned.
I'm still wondering about this "punishment" since they say it's just a punishable offense.
Go to Dark Elven village, you'll see hundreds of bots deleveling on guards.
Also many many bots outside, killing mobs. All these dwarves in bronze armor and viper fangs.
Quite a little bunch in Elven village too, and I'm afraid of thinking of Dwarven lands.
All these adena they farm for the stupid rich ebayers, too lazy to play the real game.

When are people going to realise that as long as there's money being spent, more bots will always return? Though I'd love to see you getting rid of the bots, too.

Actually i agree that having a lot of bots in the game is the most serious problem to become Festival winner.For real in DE village they are like bugs:0)hundreds of dorfs moving around i wish there was an award for PKing em
