What's best? Mystic Muse/Necro ? How much does Cursed bone cost?
And what orc mystic class is best for Area Of Effect attack spells? And what armour should I have for my Orc shaman? Robe/Light armour? What weapon is best for no grade/D-grade? Where can I earn good SP at lvl 11 orc mystic?
Thanks :)
lot of question there
mystic muse is a third class mage and necro is a second class

generally most ppl will say necro>spellsinger but with cast speed that fast they do stand a chance

Overlord is the aoe nuker of the orc race but its abit different than the average mage

dont know the rest never played a orc
someone else's turn

Ignoring all your non-Orc question....

Overlord is the AOE 'specialist'. It is NOT a nuker. It is a buffer/debuffer. And the debuffs are nowhere near as usefule as regular nukes. Not even the DoT ones. Range is very, very short....but what really kills you is the MP use. EVERY skill or spell a OL (And WC as well) gets takes a large amount of MP. Add this to the complete gimpness of the MEN stat, and a utter lack of ANY MP management skills and no matter how you play your OL, you will still be forced to miser your MP. Given the almost complete lack of effectiveness per MP spent, most OL's don't even bother with 80% of the AOE skills.

Whether your a shaman, warcryer or an overlord your going to end up engaging in melee sooner or later. Almost every last Orc Mystic I've ever talked with has two sets of equipment. Robes and either Light or Heavy. (Most use heavy as the second set, myself included.) In groups you want the Robes for the MP bonus and cast speed, while the other armor comes in use when you have to just get in there and melee away. (Or solo.)

For NG I used Bronze armor (top NG heavy) and some Viper Fangs. (Top NG Fists) The extra ACC is very useful, while the extra patk from Fist over a regular blunt was the deciding factor there. Shield use at those levels is useless, so you gain nothing from using a one hand blunt+shield over more patk. I tried using the top Light armor, but I kept going back to the heavy for the extra pdef. All this was long before the new instant herbs, so keep that in mind.

For D grade, I eventually went top D duals. I tried a 1H blunt, but kept going back to the extra patk of the duals. I wished for the extra ACC of some fists, but this was before Mammon so I had to make do with what I had. For armor it was solely a Brigandine set. (No robes for D.) Drain and melee was the path I took. Late in D I added a wolf for extra patk, and that helped although the changes to aggro made it tricky at times to keep the wolf from dying.

Once in C and higher grades your choices expand as your buffs increase. For the most part, BSPS > Matk. For MP, you need robes, and for everything else you can pick Light or Heavy depending on what type of grouping or soloing you do.

...all that said, I do NOT recommend going OL. (Talking as one myself.) To level an OL you either need to be *really* stubborn or a bit of a masochist...maybe both. A constant group would be nice...but in the current Nuker/Archer centric L2 game, those don't come as easy or often as they should. (Give thanks if you have friends to play with all the time.) WC's have a much easier time both at solo and at pickup groups. Although playing one isn't quite the glamourous occupation you might think...which would be why there are so few OL/WC's out there.
I played robes from 1 - 40 with my Orc Mystic/Shaman. 1 - 25, playing all in Orcland, went easy and fast. After that, playing on "mainland", playing in robes just kept getting harder and harder. Even with the herbs, lvl 30 - 40 was a bit of a pain. Switching to Heavy Armor at 40 when I went WC was like a breath of fresh air. Eventually, I will have robes for buffing parties, until ten Heavy Armor for soloing.
If you stagger the buffs, you can buff in heavy in groups just fine.
Thanks alot for the answers :)
So, Overlord or Warcryer for killing many mobs?
Warcryer only looks like a "Buffer" (Chanter), and Overlord looks more like a mob-killing-machine. I want to be a mob killing machine :P
Warcryers are not a AoE class.

Overlords have the AoE spells and can solo "group mobs" with 1/2 hp with AoE Damage over Time, AoE root, and AoE silence, though you would have downtime for mp. Best thing for OL is to just get in a pole group and act as support. AoE debuff atk speed and accuracy really helps the healers mp and you get downtime to sit for mp inbetween trains. If you get more mp thatn you are useing it would be best to just use a pole and Soul Cry rather than AoE DoT in a pole group (or both if your mp can manage). Soul Cry gives you just as much P.Atk as other polers but your accuracy still sux and cant hit many mobs without being a bonafied pole class.
So an OL with heavy armour and a blunt weapon is best to kill many mobs?
OL is overated for aoe and you wont really find any groups unless you have some clannies that dont mind you coming.

A WC will level much faster soloing and at higher lvl you get groups really easy.
If you use your AoE spells, heavy armor is going to kill your mp regen alot and you will have lots of downtime. And if you want to kill many mobs at once you need a polearm.

Heavy armor and a Blunt is setup for 1 on 1 which could be most efficient way to solo. However Light Armor will not kill your mp regen, it just makes your casting speed a bit slower.

Id still say 1/2 group mobs are best for OL solo. You have 2 AoE DoT spells and if 1 doesnt drain all thier hp, then 2 most certainly will. Then you just wack them once with polearm and they are dead. AoE spells take alot of mp so Heavy Armor would not be good. Go for Light or Robes if you are going to AoE.

So an OL with heavy armour and a blunt weapon is best to kill many mobs?

If you want to kill 'many mobs' roll a nuker.

Yes the OL gets AOE skills....none of which do 'instant' damage. MP management is ZERO. You can help a pole group a lot with seals, but MP issues and lack of direct damage (or even pole skills!) means that you are not able to solo mob groups (even 1/x hp ones) half as well as a single dwarf with a pole. (I can just about guaruntee you will be resting for MP after each 'pull' if you are crazy enough to solo. Assuming you aren't disrupted to death...you need +Cast Robes and weapon to even think about this kind of thing. Which also means your going to have to be running Soul Guard, which is one big MP use on top of your seals.

No, if your not with a pole group for AOE, you are going to be soloing one mob at a time wether you are an WC or an OL...which is slow.
So WC is easiest to level?

So WC is easiest to level?

Neither is 'easy'. Both get their best buffs and skills late in their levels compared to a SE/PP/Bish/EE. You'll be in B grade before you get most of them...or higher. (The OL doesn't even get Death Whisper or Empower until L77.) Most OL buffs otherwise max out around late B, but the last couple and the CP skills don't come until A grade. The WC's buffs trickle in sooner (C grade) but are drawn out even more and don't max out until in A grade. (You do get the bulk of them by mid B grade though.)

WC is easier than the OL simply due to the nature of the buffs. VR, DW, Focus and haste being the major ones. A WC buffs cover all the desirable melee buffs except shield block, WW and a spammable heal. Thus all it's almost a gimme to get groups with a WC, or solo with good ability. (WC buffs work on pets as well.)

An OL's buffs are more general, with a slightly more nuker bent. (You can think of the WC as the SE of orc mystics and the OL as the EE of orc mystics.) However, since most nukers solo, your chances for a party are infinitely less likely. (Having to only solo with clan/ally members is another hard restriction as well.) You can still solo, but without the melee centric buffs of a WC this is much more difficult as well. (OL buffs do NOT work with pets either at this time.)
I think i'm going for WC then!
Thanks ALOT for all info, especially info from PainAmplifier :)
I have some time to think, i'm just lvl 15 now ^^
