1. i know there was a nerf on the polearms, and that if you are not a class that "can" use polearms you will only hit 3 mobs at once. so say i am a dwarf, and i have polearm masteries, would i still need to get the mastery to be able to hit every mob or just being a dwarf is enough?

2. i saw some kind of certificate or something being sold by a dorf which said that this thing lets you get into the catas even if you did not sign up during the quest period. can anyone give me a bit more info on how this works? and is about 100k too much for it (bartz server) ?
u will want the skill for the bonus andmore p atk and the certificate is so u sign up for free if no certificate it costs 50k to join
for 2.

if u saw the dawn approval certifcation whatever, it can be made inside a castle.
Its to join dawn, even u are not a clan with a caslte or an ally with a castle.
If u dont have this cert, u have to pay a bunch adena 25k? 50k? something like that to join dawn (after 2nd class change)
In order to have no limit on the number of mobs you hit with polearm skills, you do need to have at least one level post-40 in polearm mastery. Otherwise, you are limited to 8 or 10 mobs maximum.
post 40? aww that sucks, i wanted to run trains with my newly made scavvy in the catas =(
you can still hit 8-10 mobs, and you will be able to pull larger trains after level 40.

Unless you have a good healer, it's not usually suggested to pull more than one room pre-40 anyways.
On a human knight lvl 35 I can pull 2 - 3 rooms in PN / Heretics. I do have vr3 on me tho and an decent healer on my tail.

Now you can go to catas for free. After your second class change you will have to pay 50k adena to join dawn, or give the npc sertificate.
or *shock* *horror* join dusk
j/k i wouldnt recomend that :P
