Ol buff virus spreading!!

heroic valor does not work on summons
its an alliance buff but apparently my golem is in a different clan than me :(

seriously the only reason i wont party an ol these dasys is because they cant buff my summon and it makes me a sad panda :(
My roommate is the DC hero this month on lionna, so sad that when he uses hero skills my pidly stats go through the roof and my pet is left sad and alone.
As a Warlock I can understand your frustration on this matter. However, I will still party a OL anytime I can get one, even if he's not from my clan/ally. Their AOE damage/debuffs are just too valuable to a party IMO.

I want to make sure that I am understanding your post. You're saying that, though the WC/DC buffs go on your servitor, the hero ones do not?

/confused

wc buffs go on summons but certain (all?) ol buffs do not, like zerk
the one hero skill which can be buffed to alliance members DOES NOT effect summons

just saying its abit on the gimp side :/

Correct, some hero skills (maybe just valor) affect all ally members in a small radius. Servitors are not included. It'd also be nice if my clan skills helped my pet at all.

as far as i can see valor is the only skill that isnt a self buff or a debuff
in interlude they are makeing it so clan hall can buff summons (posibly ol buffs as well) but noone seems to care about the hero skill :(

Dam! You know, I really love my Warlock, but it's more than little frustrating to keep finding things he's been getting the butt end of! :(

but thank you for the information. It's good (or bad) to know these little things I have to look forward to.
Delete heroes, problem solved :D
Fix servitors, problem solved. </3

Thats a joke, right?
OL is the most useless pve class in the game.

No, I was not joking. There are several OL's that have learned that if they need party, give me a call. I find them very usefull in the Cat's and Necro's. So I say again, I'll take a OL in my party anytime. Maybe I'm crazy? OK, but it works for me.
I love to party with overlords. They are great sleepers and a HoP is nice every now and then.

im one of those gimp crafters with a se duel box so i never need heals
and going 70+ lvls with a stun skill that lands about as well as lvl 1 para on antharas tends to teach you to live without crowd control

truth is when im out xpping i am my summon, even with an S grade hero weapon the thing still out damages me so if you cant zerk me and my little buddy im not interested
Once interlude comes out, alliance buffs (OL and hero) should be hitting summons, if NCsoft sticks to their word.
well heroic berzerker should hit summons too
i can live with it since i deal about 40% of the total damage of me and the summon but i bet true summoners are ****** :P
You are kidding me. OL's are bad for PvE because the best exp you can get doesn't involve an OL. You don't need crowd control if you have bd/sws and a couple dd. If you have VR you usually don't need a healer either.
If you're melee, yeah.. My clan happens to consist of mostly ranged classes, so VR is for BDs and sws. Since my heals were nerfed, its nice to have a sleeper to minimize damage to the archers.

Also, I often trio with a stormscreamer and an overlord. OL provides acumen and zerk and other basic buffs, I provide emp, wm, concentration and recharges. A prophet could do the same here, but OL does just fine. + at war times, it's very handy to have a cp healer around ^^

In 9 man rooms at Pagans, OLs are also very nice to have around for mass root and silence.

I just have massive love for overlords :D
