There are nine castles to siege: Gludio Castle, Dion Castle, Giran Castle, Oren Castle, Innadril Castle, Goddard Castle, Schuttgart Castle, Rune Castle, and Aden Castle. There are also clan halls that you can conquer, such as the Devastated Castle, Fortress of Resistance, Bandit Stronghold, Wild Beast Reserve, Rainbow Springs Chateau, and Fortress of the Dead.
Currently, there are nine siegeable castles, as well as a few siegeable clan halls.
In the Kingdom of Aden: Gludio, Dion, Giran, Innadril, Oren and the capitol Aden.
In the Kingdom of Elmore: Goddard, Schuttgart and the capitol Rune.
With the new update (named "Interlude"), there will be 21 new smaller structures to siege and own, called "fortresses"; five of them in Elmore and 16 in Aden (Anyone besides me thinking that it should be the other way around, to promote the new lands?).
L2's most exciting activities are castle sieges and free pvp.
if u add the great graphic environment, what else u need to just try this game. and if you try it once, u wont play anything else. trust me :P
I almost have to agree with Zzznow21... being that I'm a former 5 year veteran of Everquest... I recently came over to Lineage II and I'm hooked on the simplicty of gameplay, variety of options in regards to class options and ultimately... awesome graphics. Everquest requires too much dedication and focus to even get anywhere half decent and all the top end gear requires hours and hours and hours of raiding. None of which can be crafted. Some decent gear can be made but usually the top end player crafted gear also requires hours and hours and hours of raiding as well. I will say though that Everquest's quest/mission system is far more detailed and endless in supply compared to L2 but they are usually time limited in everquest. L2 by far is greater imo for it's simplicty and level of fun to play (unless you get ganked by high levels in newbie towns repetively) and far superior graphics.
