No, Not at the same time. You can only do one or the other. Choosing one and then even being in a party with someone who kills 'your side' will definately hurt your standing. (Reduces your ally level.)
okay but i cant get to, say, level 4 with orc-killing and then somehow save my progress and start the other quest? after asking a couple people im pretty sure there is no way to do it, but i thought id ask.
