I'm about to hit lvl 74 in a couple of days with my nuker,and i'm thinking of starting the alliance quest.So my questions are:
1) is there any difference between the races (varkas or Ketras) that would give me an advantage as a anuker,e.g.lower m.def
2)is it possible for a lvl 74 Sorcerer with top gear and boxed healer/buffer to solo there?

1: Some people prefer varka and som silenos so the spots are pretty balanced. Cant say much about killing silenos since im allied with them but all the first mobs you need to kill at ketras is weak m.def and went down pretty fast since I duoed with a nuker there.
i got told ketra were easier so i went for them (might have been the lower mdef even though im melee)
i suggest you wait till 75 since the few points of extra pdef mattack and mp regen helps alot and you dont have to do it till 76
i soloed it on my ws (solo with an se) pretty much killed every single mob myself but it did cost me about 5 bsoes and 100+ quick healing potions
in both ketra and varka there is one spot that seems perfectly designed for small groups to lvl and thats where i went (actually i hear they nerfed the amount of mobs so it should be easier)
you dont have a hope of doing the thing in a reasonable time frame with just one recharger so when you go try and track down another one (preferably an EE)
expect to spend about 4 nukes per mob at a quest drop rate of about 50%
