If I can afford it, would it be worth my money to get this weapon not to actually fight with, but simply to use as my makeshift prophet? I have 2 accounts and have a high level SE which I'm going to use a crystal staff with mana up to keep my mp going and a SH which I'm going to be leveling from 54 on. I remember when I left about 6 months ago I had a +11 ghouls staff and with BTB I could 1 shot kill most things around VoS (was lvl 60 then) I went nearly perma red then gave away my gear to clannies who are now helping me work off my karma (hence why I'm now going to be 6 levels lower even with 80% resses) I'm not sure if I will still be able to 1 shot those mobs because now I have a +8 homu (140 matk vs 166) still a good weapon, but not nearly as powerful. Is CDLing still an option entering mid to late 60s and 70s? I know up to at least 63 it's really fast exp, though probably too dangerous to actually be feasible at VoS :) Definately needed an acumen weapon to stand any chance of cdling there and still may not be possible.
CDL is awesome but VoS is so dangerious. I tried it once. I did well for about 10 mins no problems had it all covered. Then a random flash nuke took me out. It was behind another mob and i didnt see it.
nah vos cdl is great just gotta be careful and choose targets wisely
yeah btb sa will prolly help you alot and just guessing at numbers you could prolly 1 hit with 100ish more hp
You need all the HP you can get when CDL'ing so yeah give it a shot. And yes CDLing is most deff an option at late 60s/70s. I've CDL'ed exclusively since I got the skill at 52 (used blaze before that) back in c1 and I'm a Soultaker now and still CDL'ing. Keeps me on my toes and awake. =)

Yes, this works and yes, you can even do it safely in VOS. There are a couple of pits in the northeast regions where lots of mobs spawn, but are farely well spaced out. Occasionally a mob nuker will spawn and aggro you, but rarely. Keep moving and you should be fine.
As for the SE with a SOES/BTB , that's what I use on my buffbot. It not only helps to have the extra HP on the SH, but for my other toons as well.
