Looks like, I've answered first. Well, there was far too much problem with collecting pollen so it made the event quite unattractive, otherwise the event could be interesting.
The uneven droprates are just bad :mad:! Bad and unfair to good portion of population :(.
Also, I belive there shoul be less low end rewards (aka D armor enchants). I would much rather get 1-2 eaa instead of 8-12 ead from an emperor squashes. Another thing, geting 4 A crystals from large squash is not cool, no mater how low is the quality of that squash, getting that made me one sad, sad panda :(
On a plus side squashimg the squash, or pumpkins, as I call them more often is still as fun as in first event :D.
This must be one of the few polls where everyone is in agreement about each category, especially in regards to the drop rate with 100% of the people (who number 18) agreeing that the method for nectar/pollen drops were not ideal.
First of it's always fun to play with the squashes.
Second of it's always fun with free stuff.
Third, why not have them drop some new limited accessory.
Forth, stop discriminating us who can't play on your "prime time". Why is our time in the game worth less then someone who happens to work / go to school at the right hour according to you?

Skimmed the story (more because I was upset with the duration)
Rewards were personally not worth the time and effort, but thats more because I was unlucky as hell...18 large pumpkins and the best I got was 1 single EWB, not even a single crystal :(
Drop rate was horrible and made the short time period worse.
I answered no to the last one...not because I don't like pumkin events (I love em), but the time and drop rate made it very bad, so an event timed like this and with this biased droprate, hell no.
Pumpkin event is great, However it is rediculous that when I coem on between 11:00pm and 2:00am eastern time, I get pollen from almost every other mob. When I go on during the day I get maybe 1 pollen every half hour, usually worse. this is on Kain. Some hunting spots I also found certain mobs dropepd pollen more frequently such as, fortress or resistance, and some where pollen dropped less (Ivory tower crater - 3 in about 7 hours in 2 days).
This event is great, but if you keep using it we will get very bored, we pay to play this game because it is constantly updated, we like new content. recycling events is good, but do not overdue it.
All event that involve better drops or better xp are always wanted more. I suggest just try coming up with different concepts, such as bands of goblins (who stole xmas presents), I read in suggestion forum. An event where we can make weapons which are on a time limit - we would be able to enchant these weapons just liek ordinary weapons but they would be very cheap. Weapon lasts maybe 6 hours of gameplay.
Story lines make events more enjoyable as well, but they have to be creative.
i played over the weekend (no time to play during the week) as much as i could and in the end i didn't have enough pollen for one large squash (made 7 small ones instead) .... drop rate was for me something around 1 or 2 pollen per hour :confused:
about the reward; more higher grade enchant scrolls instead of d grade .... ;)
We killed a raid boss.... no drops... wait! Oh! We got a pollen!!! YAY!!!!

(remove event item from drop list of raid boss or make them drop high numbers like for exaple 50+)
The event I still Love...liked it from first time...But the Drop rates Oo ...Come on people...That was just plain rediculous.
Due to the very hard time gathering enough to even buy a big squash I have done as many here (gone for the small ones). The items received from the squashes could get a tuning as well...The D grade stuff dropped way too much for the serious effort that had to be produced to even get a large squash. Tell the gardener his squashes were not such a big 'hit' this year, but we hope the new seeds will end up better over the coming year ;)
As for duration...Make it at least 1week and a half or directly 2 like I believe it was last time.
I replied maybe to the question about joining in next time such event comes and that is maybe if all is fine tuned and things are fairly set up for all to be able to enjoy at any given time regardless of any number of players online on a server ;) We all pay the same money and we all want to enjoy the same game content regardless of where we are located. Well, i dont have 200 ead and eac, but I have a considerable stock on my alts. It's becouse I spend like 10-20 on pollens becouse I could not get enoughf of my own due to my play times.
The drop rate was rediculous. Like its been mentioned, i had to be on between 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM to get a decent number of them, and i am not willing to do that again next time around.
Yeah, I got nothing more then a few small ones myself, didn't get enough for a big, well i guess I could have turned in for 1 big but that would just meen to open 1 thing...
Drop rate sucks just way to much. It hurts the real players hell a lot more then it hurts the bots.
Drop rate was great the first few hours after the event had started, as always. But after that, it slowed down A LOT for me. This is the only part of the event I'm really unhappy with. I got 2 EAS out of it and a few soul crystals stage 10, so over all, I'm pretty satisfied. Did buy pollens for 4-5 squashes though. This was all in cooporation with my boyfriend.
Only change I wish for, same as everybody else; have the pollens drop consistanty throughout the day, regardless of prime time.
We've said this for every event of this type, I don't know why it's still like this.
i got 13 large squash but i still see where the drop rate was low on off times
basically id get 50 nector in 2 hours then spend the next few hours trying to get 10 more
I donated the nectar I got to my clan.
Th current setup did not allow me to gather them as I play non-prime time. (And no, I am not about to give up my sleep for a "global" event.)
I gathered truckloads of nothing tho, was really cool.
Well I guess this should send some kind of message to the devs that they really have to think about making events more "compatible" with the NA player base. What works in Korea where everybody is in the same time zone does not necessarily work on our servers (totally apart from the fact that probably even in Korea lots of players are left out of the event because they have to work at weird hours).
Same for me as for lots of others in this thread - when I played during my usual hours, I got maybe 3 pollen per hour. When I managed to stay up until about 1am, drops started to get better, until I got about 30-40 pollen per hour at like 3am. Remember that this was during the week, on work days...
So I hope that this poll manages to make it to the devs.
Change the 4x mobs so they drop 4x the event items than the 1x mobs. (whether that be nerfing the 1x mobs as the best solution so as not to flood the market, or just upping the 4x rate)
The pollen drop rate needed to be fixed. The drop rates should not differ depending on time IMO. Otherwise a neat event especially if you are a beginner like me. I only had time to play for 2 days but got some pollen and made a neat profit selling (and money is in very short supply here ;) )
well think the drop rates.. are bad... and especially for the european ppl playing on thiis server.. drop rates where okay in US prime time... but its few of us who have the time to set up all night just to be in an event... know it keeps bots from harwesting 24/7.. but it is annoying like hell.. because its not possible to switch too a Euro server.. and that we know a lot of ppl on this server.. so we loose.. in this way:S
but its a cool event... :). just need more pollen !!
