Hi,
I started this game a few weeks ago. i made 2 orcs, a 23 monk that i thought would be alot of DPS but i found it lacking. So i re rolled a 21 Shaman cause i thought they would have the best buffs which turned out wrong too.
Any thoughts cause I'd prefer to find out what classes are worthless before i get to 40+.
Tatoos: It's hard to figure out what stats you want and which you can sacrifice without knowing what they do. I saw it on this board when i was downloading the game but after searching the posts for 2 hours i'm not that intrested in finding that post anymore.
I believe you are looking at things differently than was intended.
Both of these classes are great, but your level is too low to see what they can really do.
I can't speak about the monk much other than to say that the ones in my clan and in the alliance are increadable. The DD tyrant is a killing machine with some serious speed. Only down side is the cost to level them since they hit so many times with their fists.
The shaman class divides into two classes. The WarCryer is an increadably balanced player who can buff whole parties and can fight hand to hand easily. Their problem is that their final buffs come very late in their levels as compaired to the other buffers but they can fight very well and solo pretty easily.
The Overlord is also a great character. Their buffs are alliance based but again, their buffs come late in the levels. Their de-buffs and their ability to heal CP throughout the alliance is awsome.
I think you need to first figure out what kind of play you want and what levels you think your are going to be at for most of your play time. There are other classes that excel in the lower levels (dwarfs), but don't play quite the same at higheer levels.
As for tats, well, I would suggest waiting until you are at least level 52 and then see what armor/weapon you are going with and then see what tats you need to mess with to fix what ever you feel is not working.
